Username: Ro-chan

Character's Name: Mori Naro

Charcter's Picture: Avitar

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 160

Nationality: Italian/Irish/Japanese

Grade Level: Second Year

Appearance: Long blonde hair that she wears in varying styles, depending on what she is doing, Prussian blue eyes that will glow silver when she is about to fight, tan skin courtesy of her Italian blood, and a slim figure.

Special Traits: A strange birth mark in the tribal form of 'Light' between her two collar bones. She also has a scar above her left eyebrow, but it's small enough to not be noticed and is hidden by her bangs.

Weapons: An ornate, black laquered Tanto with red Sakura branches and flowers snaking up the sheath to the handle.

Techniques:

Shishi Rendan: A series of powerful punches and kicks, finished by knocking the opponent into the ground.

Kage Buyou: A technique that first sends the opponent airborne while the user attaches to the opponent's shadow, leaving the opponent vulnerable to stronger attacks.

Renge: A series of high-speed hand-to-hand combat moves. Because of its high speed and power it requires a lot of stamina and it strains the muscles.

Strong Points:

Physical: Ro's endurance can keep her fighting for hours and has been known to wear down her opponents aswell.
Physical: Her speed is a big advantage when she uses alot of her attacks, especially since they require alot of it.
Mental: Uses satire to confuse people.

Weakness:

Physical: Ro is actually very sick, and her lungs can't handle large amounts of physical activity. This is why she doesn't participate is sports clubs and P.E.
Mental: Hates it when anyone calls her by anything other than Ro, and has a tendency to attack people who know well enough.
Mental: Her short temper.

History: Naro's, or Ro as she prefers to be called, mother is half-Italian and half-Irish and met her Japanese husband in college. When Ro was four, she was in a car accident in which both of her parents were killed. She was alseep at the time, but luckily escaped with minor injuries and now has a small scar above her left eyebrow. Her grandparents on her mom's side took care of her for a while, but finally kicked her out because they felt it was her fault their only daughter had died. She never blamed them for it, but there has always been an underlying anger when she speaks of them. Ro also went through foster home after foster home, each having their own problems in the home where she was sometimes beaten or mentally degraded. She survived with by giving each of her tormentors a swift kick to the head.

Just recently, however, has she been sent to live with her aunt and uncle on her dad's side, but she was in foster care long enough to learn Martial Arts from some weird man who would go on about the splendors of youth. Her nickname for him was "Master Catterpillar" because of his fuzzy eyebrows.

She has recently been accepted to Todou Gauken for her second year of high school. While some of her academic grades, literature and history excluded, were just above average her physical test scores were astronomical. The school has bee notified about her condition and has excused her from any and all physical classes, so long as she shows up for what ever endurance test they have. During her free periods, she usually hangs out on the roof trying to up her stamina.

Ro's general outlook on evrything is that it's all troublesome. She hides behind this attitude so that she doesn't have to fight or do any other physical activity, and also so her classmates don't know about the problem with her lungs. The story behind that is that she was born nearly two months premature, and her lungs hadn't had enough time to develop. Despite this, she is perfectly normal unless she does too much physical activity. But also because of her martial arts training, she also has built up a huge amount of stamina to add to her skill. Naro may be a hard-headed, half-Japanese brat born and raised in America, but she can be as sweet and endearing as the fabled Natsume Aya.

Other Info: (I wasn't sure if this is okay, but I'll take this out if it's not.) One thing Ro makes perfectly clear is her love of music. She is enrolled in the schools choir, and would have joined the band as a flute and piano player, but her aunt and uncle said one thing at a time. The school has oakyed that it is alright if she uses the music room when it is empty, though.

Sample Post:

It was just as the late bell was ringing that a wine red Akira TL pulled up to Todou Gauken; some of the remaining students stopped to watch the new car curiously, but were quickly shooed away, knowing who the car belonged to. The passenger door opened and a loafered foot stepped out followed by it's brother and then their owner stood before the open door, squinting up at her new high school. A few of the ditchers cat called her before sneaking off to tell their friends.

Ro ignored this, finding it far to troublesome to bother with and she was currently picking at her too short skirt in disgust. She'd have to ask for a pair of the boy's uniform pants until she got the skirt tailored. Her long hair was up in a loose ponytail, the early morning sunlight creating a golden halo around her head. Blue eyes peered out through messy bangs critically, evaluating the grounds till she was satisfied.

"You like it?" a woman asked from the driver's seat, a warm smile on her face.

Ro nodded curtly, raising a lazy hand to brush her loose bangs from her tanned face. "It's fine Aunt Kioko," she replied shortly.

The woman's smile turned into a grin. "Oh good," she beamed. "You have a nice day then Naro."

Ro gave a backwards wave as she closed the car door and headed to the front entrance of the school, muttering, "It's Ro."-before disappearing through the doors.

The woman in the car smiled lovingly at her niece's back. "Give 'em hell, sweetie" she rooted before driving away.
