Appearance: Pride has a feminine, almost androgynous face, and might be mistaken for one if it wasn't for his build and dress. He also has piercing golden eyes that are hypnotic and mesmerizing. Pride has volumous jet black hair, that is spiky in all different directions, although it is slightly spiked back. Two long double bangs run freely down the sides of his face, semi covering his eyes. In contrast to his feminine face, Pride has a strong build and a strong body.

Special Traits:Has a tattoo of a gothic cross on the back of his neck. He also has the kanji for god on his left wrist and the korean word for god etched into his right wrist.

Weapons: Pride carries a small switchblade, as well as retractable heelknives in his shoes. But nowadays he carries a tachi(a kind of katana) in his new creative sword style.

History:Pride was born in South Korea, to a Black/Korean father and a Japanese mother. He lived a normal, happy life there until they moved to Southern LA in the United States. His father was a succesful business man as well as his mother, who were coworkers who fell in love and eventually married. They had ran into a crooked business deal involving the Takayanagi family and multiple gangs. The deal had gone awry and led into his parents death and Pride was cast of into the streets at the age of 7. He was soon picked up into a gang, where he learned to survive and protect himself by all means necessary. Soon he was thrust into many bad situations, and was at the end of a gun so many times he lost count. Pride also became a terror of the streets, he was savage and ruthless in gang fight and fought dirty. Pride earned himself a reputation by the age of 12. By this time he had forgotton his last name and he baptized himself with a new one: Makyou. He had learned that Makyou meant demonic in japanese and he decided it would suit him well. But during this time Pride was exposed to rap and hip hop music. It soothed him and helped him relax. It made Pride realize he was beginning to tire of this lifestyle and he needed something... more. He learned how to breakdance and it helped Pride blow of steam and escape from the real world, if not for a little bit. Meanwhile, Todou Gauken was looking for students with greater potential. They had sent several scouts sent off into various parts of the world. Thats when Pride's life changed. He was picked and sent off to Todou Gauken without another word. Now a 3rd year, Pride founded and leads the breakdance club. Pride had also developed a new martial arts style, combining breakdancing and swordfighting. Although it has many flaws, Pride works hard to perfect his swordstyle.

Pride woke up angrily from his bed. This was the 5th time he had woken up tonight from the constant clicking sound of the clock. Irritated, Pride kicked off the covers and grabbed his kunai, something he kept under his pilow, and threw it hard at the clock. It flew straight and true, piercing the exact middle of the clock. The glass that protected the clock face shattered and the clock itself cracked in half. It fell off the wall in crumpled, broken heap with a loud crash. But by now, Pride couldn't fall asleep even if he wanted to. He swore under his breath and pulled the kunai out of the wall. Pride threw it lightly on the ground as he grabbed his clothes. He changed into his regular apparel, grabbed his katana, and left the apartment. Pride slammed the door behind him and headed out for a much needed walk.
