| T.R. Knight, the television and film actor who was once with the Guthrie Theater, will return to Minneapolis on Oct. 13 for a reading of "The Laramie Project." Knight will join a cast that includes Twin Cities actors Bob Davis, Beth Gilleland, Emily Gunyou Halaas, Bill McCallum and Claudia Wilkins for the reading at the Woman's Club near Loring Park. The event is part of a larger commemoration marking the 10th anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death in Laramie, Wyo. "The Laramie Project" was written by Moises Kaufman after interviewing dozens of Laramie residents about occurrences surrounding Shepard's beating death. Shepard's mother, Judy, will speak at Loring Park before the reading, which is directed by Peter Rothstein. Knight is featured on ABC TV's "Grey's Anatomy." |
