Title: Last Movie You Saw?

Suigintou's Friend - April 11, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
What's the last movie you saw, and how was it?

I watched Clerks for the 2nd (or 3rd?) time last night, because Amy had not seen it.

It was still good!

Glossarienvogel - April 11, 2008 02:13 AM (GMT)
The last movie I saw was Na Kamalei: The Men of Hula (at the Wisconsin Film Festival). I will now quote from what I wrote about it when it was still fresh in my mind:
A fine documentary about one of the oldest operational all-men hula schools/groups. I've been in the building where the climactic competition is held (this year's is going on right now), but I've never been to the event itself. Nicely fleshed-out subjects and good flow.

Maronakins - April 11, 2008 02:47 AM (GMT)
idk the name of the movie, but watching it now whilst surfing. Some old school chinese kung fu movie thinger *I love those*

Since it's bootleg and had no title on it... yea idk the name. XD

Suigintou's Friend - April 11, 2008 03:58 AM (GMT)
Okay, so we just finished Mallrats. It's funny to watch it right after Clerks to hear all the references.

Suigintou's Friend - April 19, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
Last movie was Juno. Fun to watch again!

Hmm, never actually saw it, but I want to. Heard it was good from like a thousand different people.

It really is. I'd say it's like Superbad if it were more of a drama instead of a teen party movie.

kokoa - April 23, 2008 04:14 AM (GMT)
I last watched Empire of the Sun. For some reason, although I don't usually like those sorts of movies, I like this one.

My Fellow Americans

Good stuff. I used to have it on VHS and finally bought the DVD recently.

NekoHennuli - April 30, 2008 03:03 PM (GMT)
Hitman.

God, he was hot.... *drools*
Seriously, the movie was the best game based movie I've ever seen. Even thoug I haven't pplayed any Hitman games, I like it very much.

Hmmh... Olyphant-sama..... <3

Tasogare - April 30, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)

Eh, it wasn't that great.

I have to ask: Was the movie actually 88 minutes long?

lol. I actually didn't check the runtime. XD Wanted to though. But I don't think so.. I mean, there was a prologue/epilogue and all that...

Major League.

Juuuuuuust a bit outside!

Suigintou's Friend - May 4, 2008 06:42 AM (GMT)

Lots of good 80s movies for me recently.

I laughed so much that I almost peed in my pants. o.o;

Suigintou's Friend - May 12, 2008 09:11 AM (GMT)
Being John Malkovich

Before that, MST3K: The Movie.

Suigintou's Friend - May 19, 2008 09:31 AM (GMT)
Clerks II. It was a lot better than I expected.

NekoHennuli - May 20, 2008 08:32 AM (GMT)
National Treasure II - The Book of Secrets

Lust, Caution

HAIRY ARMPIT SEX

Rose Crystal - May 24, 2008 05:24 PM (GMT)
Iron Man.

Robert Downey Jr. usually looks like an old guy, but in this movie, he was surprisingly RAWR.

Suigintou's Friend - May 25, 2008 06:43 AM (GMT)
Mean Girls

I have to say that I enjoyed it.

Suigintou's Friend - June 29, 2008 05:50 AM (GMT)
Futurama - Beast With a Billion Backs

Anna Cassidy - June 29, 2008 08:35 AM (GMT)
Did it rock? Oh, please tell me it rocked.

StarionX - June 29, 2008 08:38 AM (GMT)
Transformers.

Also watched some of the bonus stuff too.

T'was good. It felt more like a really long episode than a feature, but it was quite entertaining.

Also, we watched Pieces of April, which I enjoyed mostly.

Tasogare - June 29, 2008 01:11 PM (GMT)
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds
WALL-E (:P)
Howl's Moving Castle

AKC - June 29, 2008 03:55 PM (GMT)
I saw Wall-E. It was really sweet, though I get the feeling it's not something I'd watch over and over. (It was great seeing it in the theaters though!)

Suigintou's Friend - July 2, 2008 05:52 AM (GMT)
Be Kind Rewind.

Not great, but it was cute.

Guy - July 2, 2008 06:00 PM (GMT)
Urusei Yatsura: Only You

It felt more like an incredibly long, yet very entertaining UriYa episode than a 'movie'... though that's what I was hoping for anyway.

There are few things I'd watch over and over. lol.

He's so cute though. XD

Anna Cassidy - July 6, 2008 08:29 AM (GMT)
I, too, saw Wall-E. While not Pixar's ABSOLUTE BEST (that would have to be Finding Nemo, I think), it was still freaking adorable, with a good message.

If Wall-E wasn't all hard and pointy I'd want to hug him. XD

Chikane - July 7, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
I went and saw Hancock. It's nice to see something done differently in a superhero movie for once. c:

Suigintou's Friend - July 7, 2008 09:11 AM (GMT)
Zoolander. It always makes me laugh. A fine entry into the smart-stupid comedy genre.

NekoHennuli - July 7, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Hocus Pocus

It's so legendary. And funny.
I love Sarah. She's so blonde. XD

Tasogare - July 8, 2008 02:54 PM (GMT)
Kingdom of Heaven
Joan of Arc

NekoHennuli - July 12, 2008 01:51 PM (GMT)
Kill Bill vol. 2

Mmm... Blood...... <3

Suigintou's Friend - July 29, 2008 08:17 PM (GMT)
Pineapple Express. There was a pre-screen at the mall theater, so we went and saw it. Funny and violent. It was entertaining, but I don't know if I'd watch it again real soon. :P
