Title: Concerning RPing

While there is no longer a forum especially dedicated to RPs, you can still do so if you like in the "Play With Hina" forum. Just though I'd clarify. Also, mainly for Bara-bara, I moved the Lords of Cerezoth RP we were doing a while back out of storage so that it could at least be seen again. :happy:

Woo! I appreciate this. Particularly since you did so before I could request it. <3

oh one question about the old rp *lords of cerezoth* is it still an accessable rp or is it there just for noobs *me* to see how far it got or what?
Also yay to RPs

Well, Norm would have to come back to even start it up again, since he was the dude in charge. If I could find the time to write again, I'd be up for re-joining the action. :happy:

I'm in a vaguely similar position, though it'd take me a while to remember the details of how Elizabeth worked and the things I'd had planned. ^^;
And I'm theoretically also up for joining new RPs people decide to make, though in practice it'd have to really catch my interest for me to decide to commit the time to it. Still, I'd like to see people making new ones. Maybe it would be worth designing one by discussion? Odd as it sounds, that was the origin for the most successful RP I've been in so far...

I wouldn't mind seeing Cerezoth get going again. I still remember some of the ideas I had for it before it died.
As for a discussion to build a new RP, that's not a terrible idea. But I'm really hesitant to re-open the RP section just for that. The last time I did that, none of the people who were begging for the RP section actually posted there. But perhaps we can use a discussion topic here to gauge the real interest, and see how many people really want to RP, and how many just want an RP section sitting at the bottom of the forum list.

Yeah, I was thinking it'd be better to just keep things in the games section until we're sure there'll be enough action to be worth re-opening a dedicated subforum for it (and then we could just move the threads in). If we got maybe around two or three RPs really going well, then it might be worth it, but until then... well, RPs are a type of forum game, after all. =P
Shall I go ahead and start a discussion thread, then? I'm thinking of a plan like this:
- Start discussion thread in "play with Hina" forum.
- If we get some idea that'd work, start threads for profiles and the RP itself, also in "play with Hina".
- Keep the discussion thread around to talk about the setting and other stuff, because otherwise people tend to need OOC comments added to their posts.
- Repeat the approach, possibly, if people want more RPs? Or let people make them on their own.
- If overall RP activity ever gets sufficient and sustained enough, admins can move all related threads into a RP subforum. This is entirely their call.

Nah, I wouldn't want to reopen a section for it. I think they'd be fine in the existing games forum.
