And, if we win in a contest, do we receive any prize?

Yes, there are prizes for contests. Elite Member status is one of the possible prizes. And you can also be granted Elite status if we feel you've earned it in some other way, but usually it's won in a contest.

Are these contests the Art contests or are there other contests at times?

There are many others; we've had scavenger hunts and lots of other contests in the past.
