Figured I'd start this thread as I just cosplayed Jun at Otakon '06. I've also got a couple pictures from Sakuracon '06 of great Rozen cosplays, so I'll share those, too.

Surprisingly enough, the hardest thing to find for me when I did Jun were the glasses. I finally got some cheap costume frames for $2 (plus $5 shipping :pinch: ) online.

I've never done a cosplay before, though I certainly wouldn't be against trying it out sometime.

You see, next year I'm going to Armaggedicon in Columbus, and I am planning to cosplay as something/one. Since because of my previously noted male gender, it would be out of the question for me to do one of the Maidens(except MAYBE Souseiseki-chan.) However, I want to do something RM related. I can't do Jun, I'm not white and nerdy enough(though on retrospect maybe I am :P) So, I am open to suggestions!

Maybe you could try Laplace or Rozen, whichever you think would fit you better.

The easiest for me maybe Hinaichigo due to my curly dirty blonde hair, but I'm even looking at a Suigin-tou cosplay.

However, I'm no seamstress, and neither is anyone else, really, in my family. My Mom's OK at it...

Your hair's the right length for Hina if you wanted to color it. Of course, wigs are easy so you could do any of them. I'm thinking you would also make a good Swizzy (errr Suiseiseki).

Yeah, I was thinking Hina all along due to my hair length and all. Plus my mom does like Hina's hair color so that'd be no problem with her. XD

Though I do like the idea of Suiseiseki (or maybe even Souseiseki,) the contacts might be a pain to get.

Had anyone here cosplayed Suiseiseki? I'm planning on cosplaying her at next year's AnimeNEXT and possibly Halloween this year, and I'd like some tips ^^;; Would velvet be good fabric to use, which I am reluctant on using since the con is in the Summer? xD;;

Also, is there any place where I can get good reference pictures for Suiseiseki's dress, preferrably from the back? ^^;

I'm working on a Suigintou cosplay... and I have to have it done by next week!

Good pictures of the back of her dress are rarer because her long hair usually covers it. I hope this helps. (Besides, you can't go far wrong if no one knows what the dress looks like.)

Wahhh.... so many cute Suiseisekis.... ;-; I'd really like to cosplay her. The only problem is, colored contacts are freaking expensive....

I've only seen two Swizzies in person with colored contacts, so it's not a necessity. I guess if you want to be perfect, maybe. I was a far from perfect Jun. ;p
