As I'm sure you've noticed, we now have a new skin. The Bara/Kira one was getting old and a lot of people didn't like it, so we have a new Shinku skin. However, it seems that already some people are bothered by it. I've put up a poll, and if it turns out most people don't like the new skin, it may not last for long.

It hurts my eyes. :(

My vision's not very good, and I have trouble reading some of the buttons, as well as thread titles.

The colors are fine (though I hate bright colors on a forum), but it's more of a vision thing than a retina-searing thing.

Can't you let just me have it? Please? The board(at least to me) is sufficiently cooler now. Frankly, it could be a bit darker, but it's fine.

I just made the background darker. Is this better, for those who thought it was too bright before?

Also, lauscho, which buttons were you having trouble reading? I can try to fix them so you can read it better.

Stuff like "add reply", "fast reply", at the bottom of the page. I have to squint and come right up to the monitor to read them. :(

The darker background takes the edge off though. It's better :3

I like it (red so does happen to be my favourite colour).
Though you should really change the yellowish beckground in the poll area. it looks pretty out of place, and it's really hard to read the poll title (though not as hard as on my laptop).
The buttons are fine, though I agree with Travis that they are kinda hard to read (no problem if you know which button is where, but still annoying).

Besides that it's all fine.

edit: there appears to be no visual difference between the new posts / no new posts icon.

Whoops, I fixed that now. I'll make a few of the other changes in a few moments.

Edit: I adjusted the one button set. Hopefully it's easier to read now.

Hmm... Okay, one moment while I browse.

-The member name colors don't go well with the rest of the skin. Light Blue, pink with red and yellow? Um...
-I'm not sure if there is an option in the skin, but I believe there is for this. Go to the search page of the forum, and you'll see the grey block of google.

That seems to be all.
However, there needs to be more colour contrast here.
I'm trying to think as I've never seen or done a light/red skin, only dark/red, of a good way to do this. I'll get back with my suggestions when something comes to me.

Yeah, it was hard to find colors that were readable. But I'll experiment with those some more.

I don't find it anywhere near as offensive as I did at first, probably because of the color adjustments. I thought the purple theme was nice, but this one isn't too bad.

Iko likes the new red skin, but it stretches the page, just like the last one., buti love it still...and ill deal XD.

Why not have an appliable skin for each of the 7 dolls? Each user could choose which skin they prefer and thats shat! ^_^

Unfortunately, that idea will not work well. InvisionFree does not have a built in skin selector. There are some modifications that can create one, however those can only change the CSS, not the images, which are an important part of the skin.

Thats why the most beautiful Rozen Maiden is used.

Anyway, that's what we're planning to do, but that can't happen until the ZB upgrade is available.

And then I guess we'll see between that and this which people like better, and use it as default.
