Ichigo Mashimaro is the story of absolutely nothing. It is girls being very cute and full of personality.
The anime is in the middle of release in the US & Canada, and the manga has just started to be released in English, too. The anime series is 12 episodes plus an upcoming OVA (WOOHOO).
Some character shots here.My favorite character's Miu, because she's just out there and pretty much unpredictable. Very entertaining. If you like character based anime that's cute and funny at the same time, like Azumanga Daioh, you will enjoy this.
Anyone else watching or reading?

This is another one of my favorite anime series. I love the random humor, and the girls are all totally kawaii. :happy:
Mui is my favorite character as well. She can be quite random and hilarious, especially when she gets into trouble.

I watched almost the whole series and tried to read some of the manga. The anime itself was pretty funny but at some point I dropped it... Nobue kinda gave me too much of a pedo-oneechan vibe and it was kinda creepy. XD
The manga has too many, uh, naked scenes for my taste, but I've gotta tell you, it's made me LOL so many times. XD I couldn't stop laughing when Miu was playing with that naked doll thing. I probably looked crazy, doubled over in laughter in the middle of the bookstore. xDDD

OMG, I bought and read the first two issues of this manga... so funny. I'm pretty sure Nobue is my favorite character so far.
But did anyone notice how... I dunno... random and far-fetched the back cover descriptions are on Tokyopop's release? I think they were really scratching their heads over how to describe the series, so they just threw down random words.
