I noticed the things i want to address seem to haev been addressed before.......but i need my say :P

First of all......advertising.

A single topic is not sufficient enough to satisfy alot of the forum crazy members out there. When people advertise, they want their topic to be found easily, conviently, and not confused with other peoples sites so that they can get their "special" attention.

Some members will only join if it can benefit them in the long end. I almost didnt join because i had no clue there was even advertising on this board till i found the topic in the general chat thread. Of course....i didnt come just to advertise... i joined to find more anime fans, in fact, i think this is the most comfortable anime chat board i've ever been on.

Second of all.....shoutbox

I noticed Iko had also metioned something about this in another topic and you said you didnt like the "Cbox" In particular because guests can post (of course, that is unless you pay) If you ever want a shoutbox were you can disable guest posting (and forcing inside registration of the shoutbox) then you're going to have to pay for it. In all my history of internet boards never have i came across a free-shoutbox where guests were disabled from posting. I pay for my cbox at my board and am quite satisified, and i think you should consider doing the same. Keep it in the footers too, it makes it easier to communicate with everyone who's on who may be on in later parts of the day :P

First, I feel the advertising topic is sufficient for our needs. We don't need a whole forum; we're not an advertising board. The topic is there so active members can promote their sites, not so people can join just to advertise. It serves that purpose just fine, so I don't think we need any more.

Second, we may have a shoutbox in the near future. That project we've all heard about may ultimately allow us to sell forum-related merchandise to members, and the money would be spent on things like a shoutbox, ad removal, etc.

XD see thats what i like about you guys. Defintly know your stuff. Never been a board that's sold merchandise before. not one like this anyway :P

btw this is just a random thought....but have you guys ever considered a GFX area?

GFX goes under Art, Writing, and Graphics. I don't think we need a whole forum for it.

hmm you're right, guess i didnt really see that part before. I dont really dabble in GFX myself, just this is the first board i've seen in awhile without a whole section dedicated to it.
