Title: Monitor Resolution
Stormin Norman - March 6, 2007 06:29 AM (GMT)
So, what's your monitor resolution?
Mine is 1440x900
A Lion - March 6, 2007 06:32 AM (GMT)
1280x800, it starts to feel cramped after a while.
lauscho - March 6, 2007 07:26 AM (GMT)
1280x1024
There aren't enough good wallpapers at this resolution =/

1280x1024 here also. I generally just scale and edit* an image I want to use if it's the wrong size, though. ^^
* As in crop or add bits, depending on which is easier to make look good.
goldraine - March 6, 2007 11:14 AM (GMT)
1280x1024 because I'm using a crappy CRT monitor.

1280x960
I used to use 1280x1028 but I kinda switched for no reason whatsoever.
Euphorian - March 6, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
=o
Wow, I thought like nobody used those higher resolutions. In fact I've only seen like two computers capable of them.
I have 1024x768
Suigintou's Friend - March 6, 2007 09:57 PM (GMT)
1280x1024 here. It's as high as my monitor goes.
weird-osaka - March 6, 2007 09:58 PM (GMT)
I think 1280x960 / 1280x1024 are about standard now.
1024x768 seems to be the minimum these days.
And some tft screens have some crazy native resolutions.
Glossarienvogel - March 6, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
I can't stand screens much skinnier than 1.5:1. A product of using a laptop so long, I guess.
Euphorian - March 6, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
My computer still goes down to 640x480.........

The computers at my old high school were capable of much higher resolutions than what I'm running on right now with only Windows 98 and 15" monitors, and my Mac Mini with an NEC FE771SB 17" monitor is capable of up to 1280x1024 with the color settings set to "millions" :P.

Your Mac Mini is capable of displaying right up to the limits of single-link DVI. It would be capable of more, but without dual-link it is stuck. ;p

I should add that I still own a functional Win 3.11 system with a screen resolution of 800x600
Medora - April 17, 2007 08:11 AM (GMT)
Mine is 1280x1024. If my monitor supported it, I'd switch to 1600x1200.
