Most of my pictures right now consist of mushrooms, to go with the season.

I'm not much into photography, but those are some rather interesting looking mushrooms.

The one in the last picture is even edible.

And some news:
Tomorrow (december 22) I will get myself an additional lens (70-300mm compared to the 18-55mm of my current lens).
This means that I will probably shift from mushrooms to other subjects (birds, probably).

Welcome to the Camera and photography thread.
I made this thread mainly as a supplemet to my other photography thread in the art section.

Basically this thread is to talk about photography in general, share tips/hints and offer advice.

Me, myself, have a dslr with 3 lenses.
Camera: Canon eos 350d (digital rebel xt, for you americans)
lens1: standard kitlens 18-55mm
lens2: Sigma 70-300mm
lens3: Canon 100mm macro

If a moderator or admin deems it necessary to merge this thread with the other photography thread (which is only for posting pictures) they can do so and I won't object.

Indeed. It's not a very great camera either (no auto-focus that I know of, 5 MP).

My favourite subject to take snapshots of (other than my band) is the sky. I get a lot of cloud shots from my window/yard.
