Title: The Dream Diary
Description: write them down before you forget

Suigintou's Friend - November 29, 2006 05:25 AM (GMT)
Alright, so this thread's for writing down dreams you've had recently or in the past.

I'll start with a wonderfully fanboyish dream I had last night.

I dreamt that an episode of Rozen Maiden was on television and subtitled in Spanish. My roommate and I were debating which episode it was. I said episode one, and she said episode two. Then a package suddenly came in the mail, and it was the episode from the television, labeled as episode one. Then another package came, and it was episode two plus a purple-beaded necklace with a dark purple stone. I put it on, and I became Suigintou's medium.

I don't remember a whole lot after that, except that we were in an airport, and I was trying to protect her.

Really weird dream. XD I don't usually have dreams like that.

Oh man, I could fill up this thread so fast. I have tons of freaky dreams. XD
I don't remember any from last night, but here's one that sticks in my mind from earlier this week:

It starts out where I'm in my room eating pizza and watching TV. I don't remember what was on, though, that part is kinda fuzzy. Anyways, as I'm sitting there, I notice a fire coming from the hallway. Trapped in my room, I decide to jump out the window. Only I don't jump, I fly. When I start flying, everything seems to go blank around me. Instead of flying over Chicago like I should be, I'm flying in an empty void. Then I start to change. My arms turn into wings, my mouth turns into a beak, and before you know it, I'm a fucking goose. I keep flying for a while, and then I see an airplane. I think "Oh, this is fun!" and fly towards it. I go right into one of the engines, but instead of being cut to pieces, I end up sitting in a classroom. The teacher is lecturing about something, I don't remember what, and meanwhile I'm thinking "Whoa, I just flew right into a jet engine and lived!" Then I hear someone scream, and my body breaks up into a bunch of pieces and falls onto the floor.

That's as much as I remember.

Bara-bara - November 29, 2006 08:18 PM (GMT)
The second most recent dream I remember involved me (as a boy this time*) getting all sekuhara'd (verbally) by a group of guys in a public toilet. I think I was plotting vengeance at the end of the dream.

(* For those who've not read many of my dreams before, I seem to be all sorts of different people in them. Also, I warn you that dream-description posts by me tend to get quite long sometimes.)

-----
Most recent dream:
I was trying to go somewhere, and had forgotten something I needed to take along (so turned and gone back home to get it), but had forgotten something else I should have taken, so started walking back a second time, then stopped, checked the time, and after indecision eventually started walking backwards as some sort of compromise between going back and going forwards?
This didn't attract so much attention though, because some other person was doing something stranger, apparently.

Next bit I remember had me at home, talking to my cousin about something. There was a box she had that I seemed to have returned for, which I opened up to check the contents of (polystyrene packing and some manner of cuboid thing).
When I started going back again (I think I was running about 40min late by now), I saw mother in a car, preparing to leave; she couldn't offer me a lift, because the car was full, with my two younger sisters (who don't exist in real life, as far as I know, so I guess I wasn't me in this dream?) and one other, who may have been a baby, from the fact there was one of those pram-things in there.

Anyway, they were going to a rather space-shuttle-resembling vehicle. Before it took off, I had got a waterbomb from somewhere, and got a biter smile from some ally of mine, because that wouldn't be able to stop the vehicle by throwing it at it, unlike last time.
I got (from inside a dark building, despite the launchpad/airstrip place the vehicle was to depart from being out in the open with no nearby buildings) an object to try to use to stop them (practically by shooting them down, forcing them to land, it seems?).
This object was something I thought of as an "Eyestaff", but looked little like the weapon from Alice. Instead, it was pretty much like a dreamcatcher attached to a pole long enough to reach almost shoulder height.
It was out of ammo, though. The energy that powered its energy attacks drew upon the fields of somewhere I'd been before (a magical land type thing, perhaps something vaguely along the lines of Wonderland or Narnia), and I'd lost access to that place long enough that when I tried to use it, it was analagous to firing an almost empty watergun. Or trying to use Alice's Eyestaff when out of power, but I doubt many would understand that analogy.

Next thing I remember was talking with someone, who suggested I come down to the kitchen to see something. I was very uneasy about this, though, so brought the Eyestaff along (I was not thinking of it as an out-of-ammo weapon at this point, for some reason). I became aware at this point that mother had gone to transport a ghost to somewhere else, and was also told something odd: the ghost had tried to lift up mother at one point, which had apparently been a habit of my father's, thus was an incarnation of him probably.
This had been complicated by his having been punched in the nose, though (I reason it may interfere with breathing if one's nose is hurt, but ghosts can be punched?).

Also, there was something about superglue and orthodontics. I think I was considering using the former to do a filling I apparently needed, but decided not to when seeing the person who'd do it properly was nearby and practically watching.

Stormin Norman - December 6, 2006 08:25 PM (GMT)
My dream from last night:

It started out where I was sitting at a desk. I don't know where; I didn't recognize the building. A bunch of people were gathered at a window, staring at something, so I headed over to check it out. There was a large, glowing object in the sky. I stared at it for several moments, trying to figure out what it was, and suddenly it exploded. There was a huge flash of heat and light, the window was blown in, and I was throw backwards into a wall.

Now fast forward several days. I was in a school bus with a bunch of people. It turns out that the object was some sort of alien weapon, and their mothership would arrive at Earth in six months. The government instated a draft to send people to special training camp to prepare to fight the aliens. I had been drafted, and this bus was headed to one of the camps.

When it got there, the first thing I noticed was a large beach. There were some people there, but it wasn't totally packed. A few kids were swimming in the water, there was a game of beach volleyball going on, and such. The busdriver told us to ignore the beach, and led us inside a large building. There some military officer was waiting, and he gave us an orientation speech. I wasn't really paying attention, though.

After the orientation, it was time for lunch. We went to a large mess hall, where they had it set up like a buffet. I grabbed a plate and filled it with several kinds of pasta. Now this plate was HUGE, probably enough to fill ten people, but I took it anyways. I didn't know anyone here, so I sat down at an empty table and ate by myself. In just a few minutes, all of that pasta was gone. Then I decided to get some soup. I went to a buffet table that had soup, and get a bowl of what was supposed to be clam chowder. But when I looked at it, it was really chicken noodle. Angry about this, I decided to look for someone in charge to complain to.

As I was looking around to find a head chef or something, I noticed a girl I knew from high school. For the sake of this post, we will call her Alicia. I went over to her, and we started talking. Then we headed over to our rooms, and it turned out that we're just down the hall from each other.

Now fast forward six months. The time to battle the aliens had arrived. The battle was going on all around me, and I was hiding behind an overturned table. I was holding a futuristic looking gun, and Alicia was sitting next to me. She was crying about something, I don't know what. I stood up and looked around for the aliens. The first thing I saw was an object exactly like the one that I saw in the sky originally. I paused for a moment, and then it exploded. There was the same flash of heat and light, and then the dream ended.

I'm variable in that respect. Sometimes I'll clearly remember a dream for hours, other times I'll quickly forget if I don't take notes. And how much I remember fluctuates also; sometimes I'll recall in great detail, other times just remember part of a single scene. ^^

Like today, all I remember was dreaming of wanting to go past someone who had a video camera, and almost walking in front of them (because they were walking backwards, perhaps to frame the scene better?) before realising I'd get in the way and recorded. So I stopped, I think.

I get the feeling there was more that happened, though...

Yep, it's the same for me. Sometimes I can easily recall an entire dream with detail. Hell, there are some dreams I had years ago that I can still remember clearly. But other times, I remember only small parts, or nothing at all.

I don't remember anything at all from last night.

Bara-bara - December 9, 2006 12:05 AM (GMT)
The nap I had just now had this dream in it:

I was viewing a map of some sort what showed France had been partitioned into various bands running from north to south, presumably something to do with military conflict or something. The victorious countries, however, were moving out. The dream followed the British soldiers, who'd pretty much gone to the coast, left all their clothes and equipment there, and started to swim home. O_o
They were apparently planning to stop at an island along the way, which was referred to (by what, I dunno; a narrator? Myself? Or perhaps the voice of the dream?) as the Isle of Man, but was actually an isolated island that was nigh-never visited, and inhabited by people who'd not had much contact with the outer world, except every twenty years or so when they'd visit for some specific reason.

I saw in a woman's house a newspaper, that had a layer of dirt on top of it, probably from the fact that it had been lying there since it was brought there. It dated from about 1985 or so.

Anyway, this woman may have been a village leader type, or perhaps the head of a very small group of people living there. She had the air of a shaman or witch doctor sort, and this helped us with an objective; we'd come to the island (by 'we' I'm not referring to the soldiers, because I or the protagonists were responsible for doing something before they got to the island, I think?) to deal with a criminal of some sort, about as high-priority as a serial killer.

This criminal was apparently part of the folklore of the island, something that did things every once in a while, I think after being released some time in the past? In any case, a scene shortly after had a showdown with him.

He turned out to be a gorilla. There was a combat/chase scene involving him and a 'good guy', where one side might have used ice magic. In any case, the human got hit once, but ended the battle by fleeing downhill slightly, and sidestepping when the gorilla leapt at him, meaning he went off the edge, into a chasm type thing. He then crashed into the opposite wall and landed on the ground a fair way below, butt he impact had broken off a section of rock which fell towards him. He didn't get squished, but may have been caught on a foot or something and immobilised. In any case, the area soon had a structure of rock spring up around it, presumably a mystic seal that trapped this entity once again.

A later scene involved a female android acting as if she'd been assigned the task of 'looking after' a man, and might have been telling him the story just now, as a prelude to other things? ^^;

In any case, that was soon interrupted by a hostile coming through the door and attacking. This battle didn't go well, until the guy noticed the floorboards were moving and cold azure light was coming through from below. Another person then entered (how, I'm not sure) and was clearly the super-dangerous sort who'd save everyone with ease.
Her arrival was signalled by a lot of throwing stars stabbing into the floor, and the viewpoint then shifted up to show she was wearing black, had a sword (a katana, probably), and was extremely pale and bald.

Not really someone I'd have thought my mind would come up with, really.

I'm not really sure who or what I was in this dream. I was observing more than anything, and never in any personal danger, but I knew who the people I should support were. Might have been a viewer, or perhaps the 'person who supports you from back at base' type, I guess?

All my dreams were bad, about being chased and such, but I only remember the last one.

There was a zombie overlord of some such trying to take over this mansion that me and a bunch of people were in. He made zombie clones of people, then some sort of rocket-powered miniature clones, then he had the big dogs that were around go rabid and attack people as well.

There was a lot more detail to the dream, but I don't remember it really. It ended with me (but not really me) as an old man lying on a bed and being turned into a zombie by the overlord, and resigned to the fate.

Bara-bara - December 12, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
Dreamt, among other things I don't remember, that Glossarienvogel was the last poster in the LoC signup and RP threads, which I thought somewhat of a surprise considering past behaviour. =O

Also, I think there was something unrelated involving dragons? This sortof makes sense, considering how the subject came up a few times on the weekend...

Rosa Mystica Forums was in my dream last night.

It started where I was walking into a building that looked like a mall. I went to the usual spot where RMF was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. Then I went to a directory of all the stores in the mall, but RMF wasn't listed there, either. Confused, I start looking around to see if I can find RMF.

The first thing I ran into was a hall where the floor was covered in blood. I looked to find the source, and saw a large dinosaur with blood all around its mouth. It turned to me, and I started to run. As I was running, I saw a cheetah run past me the other way to attack the dinosaur. I don't know what happened to it, I was too busy running.

Next I came across a narrow stairway. It looked more like something you'd find in a house rather than a mall, but I went up anyways. At the top there was a long hallway, and at the end of it I found a large chest. I opened it, and inside was a gold crown with cat ears attached. It looked like something that would be used as a character's equipment in an RPG. I thought this was a nice find, and took it with me.

After that I went back down the stairs to the level where I was before. In the next hall I entered I found Archer from Fate/Stay Night fighting with some mecha. A mecha of my own suddenly appeared, and I decided to help Archer. The fight lasted for several minutes before Archer and I defeat the other mecha.

Then I continued my search for RMF, and came across what looked like a small movie theater. I went inside and sat down. The movie playing appeared to be some sort of documentary about patients dealing with a terminal illness or something. I watched for a while, and all of the sudden it turns into a porno movie. I was thinking "WTF, I didn't come here for a porno movie!", so I left the theater.

After another brief period of searching, I finally find RMF. On the floor, there were a bunch of names written, and among them was "Rosa Mystica". As I was trying to figure out how to activate the forum, it suddenly popped up right in front of me. It was set up like a store, and in the window there was a Shinku and Hina display set up in the same pose as in the forum banner. I went inside, and the walls and such were all yellow, the same colors as the forum. It was full of tons of Rozen Maiden merchandise, and I could see some TVs in the back playing RM episodes. I also noticed several forum members, or rather their avatars, walking around.

I don't remember what happened after that.

Bara-bara - January 15, 2007 05:53 PM (GMT)
There were three main parts to my most recent dream:

- Something about opening a secret passage to get into a place, possibly the location for the next bit. There was one unrelated bit I'll not mention, but much of this consisted of hitting three places in a bathroom to open a way onto a conveyor belt through a narrow tunnel. 'Twas quite claustrophobic.

- Watching some pretty good anime in company. I was attending the showing of the last ep, which I hadn't seen. I moved my chair to get a better view just as they were starting.
(This is a bit odd because usually I'd acquire and watch anything I was interested in in private, rather than waiting for other people to do things. ^^)

- A huge mechanical thing with many arms (and legs, I think. Something like 6-8 limbs in total?), which looked a lot like a construction machine. It was pushing a boy along the floor with one arm, and he had a mat beneath his back and was possibly covered in yellow fluid like gunge? In any case, he was yelling "Stop it, Tyrannosaurus, you're squashing me!".
I think this was some sort of gameshow or something. Dunno what the aim was, though, or why I was watching from just outside the machine's reach.
I think there were others with me also, one of which was a man in a business suit?
Also, the thing was doing things with its other arms also, possibly harassing other people.

Last night I had a dream that I was in some RPG game. It was set in a city in a desert, though there were statues of Zeus all around. I was walking around the town, trying to find a place to sell the useless items I'd acquired from fighting monsters. But none of the shops owners would buy what I had. Later on, I found myself in a fight with some strange insects. And I also ended up fighting a dinosaur. Hazuki showed up, too, but I don't remember any more of the details.

I was talking with someone, saying something like "Yeah, if you don't <do something involving making some form of noise>, it'll notice your heartbeat and bite you." I was referring to the snake to my right, while the person was in front of me or so (I think this was a 'a friend has come over and we're talking while sitting on my bed' situation).

After a moment, the snake bit me in the neck, starting to pump venom in.

I thought something along the lines of "Now what? I'm not feeling any poison effects, at least. Maybe it doesn't have any poison (despite me definitely feeling something being injected)?", calmly and reasonably.

I then grabbed the snake's mouth and forcibly removed it from my neck. I ran (not in panic, but somewhat along the lines of 'I'll be right back, I just need to put this somewhere safe') to the bathroom for want of somewhere to put it, waved it around a bit (it was now an eel, by the way) and whacked it against something to stun it so I could throw it into the bath (because it was writhing around enough that I thought it would warp the trajectory if I just threw it).

It was now a swordfish (though it didn't look like one, and didn't have the characteristic sword, as far as I remember). I dropped it into the bath, snout-first.

...I note that prior to biting me, the snake was in the position my plush snake usually occupies relative to my position. Wasn't the same snake, though. It was about the same size though, meaning it would have had fangs roughly long enough to penetrate about halfway through my neck... ^^;
I felt perfectly fine after being bitten though, for some odd reason. And I was only slightly worried about dying of poison.

Stormin Norman - February 13, 2007 02:01 AM (GMT)
I had another dream that involved RMF. I signed on and there were a bunch of people on. Like twenty, or more. And there were maybe fifty new members. And of course, lots of posts. Well, it turned out one of these members was a Colts troll. He was posting in every forum about how the Colts are awesome, the Bears suck ass, etc. I was about to ban him, when I realized that this troll was actually Peyton Manning. So I banned him anyways, and signed his email up for a bunch of spam. XD

Stormin Norman - February 26, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
Another dream I had last night:

It started where I was on a date with some girl. I don't remember her name; I don't think it was anyone I know, from either real life or an anime. For our date, when went to eat at restaurant on the top floor of a really big skyscraper. It looked exactly like the Sears Tower, but we called it something different in the dream (I don't remember exactly what).
Anyways, we were eating and talking, and all of the sudden we hear people screaming. We look out the window and see a massive tsunami headed towards the city (which looked exactly like Chicago, but once again, we called it something different). The people below were running in every direction, screaming. Some were just running around in circles, but the smart ones were trying to get to the top of a really tall building. Soon the restaurant became full of people trying to escape the tsunami.
It hit several minutes later. The entire city was flooded with water. It must have been fifty stories high, or more. Only a few buildings stood out above the water. We could see a bunch of people swimming around, and some drowning.

That's basically what I remember.

Euphorian - February 27, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
The most recent one I remember (part of):

I was going to a library to get something for someone. I forget what, I forget who. I came in in the library's third floor. It was a four floor library.
I was admiring a book on the table in the middle of the room with the stairway to the second floor, when a girl came up from it.
I knew this girl. I had recently asked her out.
She said no.
Anyway she and I talked a little, I told her what I was there for, and she basically said I was acting emo. As we went down to the second floor, (this is the only part of the dream that I remember the dialog of, as it kinda struck me) she said something in response to something I had said,
"Me thinks Jim is lonely"
I realized in the dream that Jim was a nick name she used to call me. No, my real name is not anything close to Jim, nor does she call me that, but in the dream she apparently did, and I knew it. I thought she was wrong, and seeking to avoid any further discussion about it, I just said,
"Huh, Jim? Who's Jim?"
I already knew, but I knew that she wouldn't answer that. I was right. She re-joined her study group, most of whom were either non-existent or also IRL friends of mine as I went down to the first floor, and into the Libraries basement... Which was a music studio.

My mom's a music teacher, and every summer she organizes her students into bands and we put on a show. Last year we preformed at the Hard Rock Cafe for the second time.
Anyway, this was a band that had been together with her for a couple years, but today in the dream they were being particularly jerkish. They gave me what I came for but as I left one of the guitarists who's actually kinda my friend made some snarky comment. I went up the stairs and exited through the first floor (I had to crawl to get out, like crawling in Zelda OoT. Which is weird, I don't really like that game, nor have I played it recently).

Later on in the same dream:

I had returned to the library for some reason. This time I came in the fourth floor. The girl's group had migrated up there, but she and one other member of the group were gone. I was talking with the others when she showed up with him
IRL, this is a person both she and I want to saw the head off of.
In the dream, however, she was going out with him.

At that point I simply left, and woke up.

I guess why I remembered it was because of what she said, I totally hadn't realized. When I woke up, I was thinking "No way" about it. As the day went on, I thought some more... I realized that she's right. I am. I just don't show it, even to myself.
For the rest of the dream, recounting it, it seems like I was feeling betrayed.

Well, whatever.

goldraine - February 27, 2007 03:42 AM (GMT)
...wow...

Most recent dream:

Last dream involved a girl(no not like that you perv) and her creating a kingdom at school. I was a proud lackie.

Slightly off topic:
I don't like to look at myself as a dreamer. I'm more of a realist, I don't think of what could be, I only think of what can be.

Euphorian - February 27, 2007 04:04 AM (GMT)
Haha. That's completely opposite from me. For ths last five months I've been trying to drive my self into a sleep deprivation based forced psychosis that I'll start living in my dreams. It worked for a few days, but then I got used to it, and now I don't know what to do. >.>
Either way, I hate reality and always try to live in the more joyful dreamworld. :p

And... uh, "wow" what? -_-

Seriously, that's all you remember? >.>

I remember being in some sort of vast stadium-like building, though there were few others around; I was wandering around alone, searching for a particular room. Instead, I found one with people changing in it (why this was in a room open to the outside world I do not know), and looked away out of politeness.

Another bit I remember had me on one side of a large block of stone or something. My mother was on the other side (not sure how she got there, though), and there were two ways to get to that side: walk by on the left, which would mean leaning back and risking a long drop, or crawl underneath. I opted for the latter, since the former looked suicidally risky; however, I found when almost there that my head would not fit through the last bit, so I'd need to go back and risk going around.
(Oddly, there was no claustrophobia or fear at crawling under a large heavy object. I've only just realised this, despite having this dream a few days ago.)

The third bit I remember involved me wanting to chop something on the ground, possibly to sever something. I walked over to a knife block and drew out a large and heavy cleaver, to do the task with, then walked back.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't anything human I wanted to cut, but I get the feeling it might have been something living...? It was something organic, I think...

*crossposted from various places*

My friend Shane and I were at work (we don't work together), in some sort of "office-in-a-trailer". We were working after hours, and he tells me to get the hell out of there and run as far as I can. I follow him instead, to some kind of scoreboard-ish sign thing standing outside the front of this office-in-a-trailer. He reads it, nods his head a couple times (the thing is CLEARLY written using non-Latin characters, some kind of gibberish), and then shoves me off. We're both running as fast and far as we can from the thing. Then, we both hide behind this rack of clothes (like the ones you find in department stores), which is inexplicably situated in a field, and we watch the trailer off in the distance explode.

Last one I remember was like a soap opera style show.
And I had to be attached to some orange slimey scorpion alien with a green head, and she was really creepy. And then she bound to my arm and I used her to fish in some mini-game type thing.

Welcome to my very damaged subconscious.

Stormin Norman - March 25, 2007 08:17 PM (GMT)
I had a rather weird dream last night.

It started where I was in a building with about a thousand other people. It was at the top of a mountain, and there was a forest with very thick fog below. Apparently, there were also dinosaurs in the forest, so everyone was trying to discuss how to get through it safely.

After a while, me and maybe a dozen others decide to go out. We're walking through the forest, and for several minutes, we see nothing. But then there's a roar, and we see a t-rex coming. We hide behind a cluster of trees, and it passes without seeing us.

Then we decide to head towards the edge of the mountain. We reach a cliff, with a several mile drop off of the end. We decide to travel along the cliff, thinking it will be safer. But soon we see another t-rex is waiting, and this one definitely sees us. We are about to turn around and run when we hear a squeak. A mouse pops out, scaring the t-rex, and it falls off of the edge of the cliff.

We continue on, and finally reach the end of the mountain. But there's a cliff there, same as was on the sides. We spend several minutes trying to figure out how to get down, when a Pterodactyl shows up. It looks at me for a moment, then grabs me and flies away. It takes me down to the city at the bottom of the cliff, and drops me off.

At this point, I'm thinking "Woo, I'm finally home!" But behind me, I hear a bunch of people yelling "It's him! Get him!" They start chasing after me, and I start running. The street turns into a track, and hurdles appear. I run right through them, but the people behind me can't. Some of them are hitting the hurdles and falling, but there's still lots chasing me. I see a puddle of mud and jump in. I submerge myself all the way, and the people chasing me run past without noticing. I come up, and see the people who originally left the building with me. They're pointing and laughing that I'm all covered in mud.

That's what I remember.

Haruhi was in my dream last night.

It started where I was sitting in the grass in a park somewhere. Haruhi was sitting next to me, and we were talking about something, I don't remember what. I turn to her, and she starts looking at me erotically. She whispers something to me, and I'm thinking, "Am I finally gonna get laid? Wahoo!" Haruhi pushes me onto my back, crawls over me, ans says...
"Let's start a club!"
She then stands up, grabs me by my leg, and starts to drag me away. I yell for her to stop, I don't wanna do this, but she doesn't listen. I call for some other guy in the park to help me, but he just looks up from his book for a moment, then looks down and continues reading.
A while later, I'm still being dragged away by Haruhi, and we pass over a bunch of diamonds. They're just sitting on the ground in a pile. A reach out and grab a handful, and try to use them to bribe Haruhi to let me go. She takes them, shoves them in my mouth, and I suffocate and pass out.
When I wake up, I'm sitting in a classroom. I look around, and see my physics teacher from my senior year of high school, and the same students from that class. I'm thinking "WTF I passed this class why do I have to sit through this again?" I look for Haruhi, but she's nowhere to be found. After a while of sitting in the class, the teacher calls on me to come up to the board and solve a problem. I have no idea how to do it, so I just write something random. The teacher looks at it for a moment, then exclaims "You've discovered a new physics equation!", and everybody applauds.

That where it ended.

Bump for a few recent dreams:

Last night's started where I was in some sort of obstacle course. I was running through a tunnel, and tentacles kept growing from the walls trying to grab me. I ran past them, and ended up at a Taco Bell. I approached one of the cashiers, asking where the hidden entrance was, and he pointed me to the employee's restroom door. Inside, there were a bunch of people waiting for me. One of them stepped forward and said,
"Congratulations, you're the winner! As your prize, you win a wife!"
Then he handed me a doll. It was about two feet tall and had short, black hair. I turned it around, and saw a button with a picture of a baby on it on the doll's back. I pushed it repeatedly, and saw a bunch of names light up. After a few times, though, new names stopped popping up when I pushed the button. I asked the man who gave it to me, and he said I have to wait, because a woman can only be pregnant with seven babies at once. I sat with the doll for a while, waiting for it to give birth, but nothing ever happened.

In another dream I was with a bunch of people in an underwater dome. Everyone was talking about how to get to the surface safely, because the waters around us were apparently shark-infested. We had one submarine in the dome, and someone got the idea to paint it like a shark and try to get past without them noticing. We did that, and as soon as the paint was dry, everyone got in the submarine, and we set out. The sharks didn't buy it, though, and we were immediately attacked. Our submarine fought back, shooting torpedoes and machine guns (Since when did submarines have machine guns?), but we were heavily outnumbered, and clearly would not make it to the surface at this rate. Someone then approached me and gave me a small red box. He said that it's urgent that this gets to the people on the surface. I should take it there myself, and he would protect me using the submarine. I agreed to this, put on a scuba suit, and headed out. As I swam upwards, I could see the submarine fighting against the sharks trying to attack me. But it wasn't acting like a submarine anymore; it wass twisting and moving like a shark would. Anyways, I made it to the surface safely, but I don't remember what happened after that.

I don't get how you can remember so much of your dreams..

The one I had last night... I only remember the ending:
Mario (as in Super Mario Bros) was acting out the scene from Secret Window where the main character (in reality played by Johnny Depp) drives/pushes a car off a cliff to dispose of incriminating evidence of murdering two police guys.
During this scene, the main character gets his watch caught in the whell or something, and he's almost dragged with the car off the cliff. In the actual scene, he gets his watch off just in time. In the dream, Mario doesn't get his watch uncaught, and he's dragged off the cliff, with the car, and crashes into the ocean below and drowns.

Another dream I had about a month ago:
I came in through the back door of my house during a pitch black night. There was an abnormally large amount of insects outside at the time. ...
After entering, I walked through the kitchen and into the dining room. Skeeter, from Doug (who appeared earlier that day in a thread on Rosa Mystica Forums), was staring, horrified and frozen, at something on the dining room table. I calmy, oblviously looked at whatever was on the table.
It so happened to be a long-dead skeletion of a small girl, vaguely similar to the one seen in D'Eon, but with more resemblances to Shinku. I will never be able to explain why, but it was by far the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. My eyes were fixed upon it, all the surroundings seemed to disappeared, and all possible emotions turned into shock and fear. After a few seconds, I managed to move my 'dream-body' through the immense amount of terror to sgut my eyes. At this point, I came to the realization that this is probably a dream. I had to open my eyes... but if it wasn't a dream, then I would have to gaze upon that hellish sight again. So, I forced myself to open my eyes and woke up...

One more dream I had around two or three months ago...or the end of it, which I barely remember. Well, actually, all I remember was the guy who I was, who was someone other than me...
um...
...
eh...
...
I can't even really explain this one...

My friend and I were riding one bike to her house about a mile away from mine. And then there was a lion in the road that chased us. It was specifically after us. We then made it to her house, which was some sort of really scary religious cult which went under the guise of a bakery or something. And they had sent the lion to keep us away. Eventually I tried to leave with her, but they wouldn't let us get away. A bunch of police arrived, and there was a shootout. Then (oh good, here's where anime comes in) Enma Ai and her crew showed up. Ai was convinced to help the police by using her powers, so she went around and started putting her hands on cult people's shoulders and making them disappear. Then Kikuri called to Ai from the side of the house and dragged her down into Hell for abusing her power.

Anyway, the police won, and they later opened up this big, brick storeroom near the house, and the cop was like "Oh man, something really gross is in here." It was a bunch of mutated babies and kids, some alive, some dead. They said they had never seen sunlight. I (still being the kid at the beginning of the dream) went over to a well and looked down into the darkness, and I could see one red eye staring up at me. I realized it was Ai, trapped in hell, and suddenly her hand came out of the well and held onto mine. "We'll get you out of there."

And then I basically woke up. I guess it would have made a good episode of Jigoku Shoujo, but man, I woke up creeped out.

*needs to not forget this one for some reason*
*he just likes it*

So I dunno, call it a 'field trip' or something. About seventy or so kids we're parading down across various high-traffic intersections during the middle of the day to go to a certain beach location. The overcast in the sky was a lucid dark grey, and the air was very humid. Now, I live in Colorado, in the middle of the country, and there ain't none beaches 'round here, nor is it ever humid. Well, whatever.
I knew all these kids, they were the eighth grade class at my middle school. And of course I was among them. Some of us had instruments (I was carrying an acoustic guitar and a mandolin, even though I'm a drummer). One boy who always brought his guitar to school was arguing with our History teacher about the literary technicalities of Rise Against's "Swing Life Away" (a song I don't even like that much). Eventually they just agreed to disagree before that guy started playing the song, which lasted us to our destination- a huge dark stone-built building that sat in a large wall.
It took several of us kids to get the front door open. Inside there was a deep purple carpet with gold lace that we all followed through the foyer into a series of complex halls and twisting staircases. Some of the possible paths led to the same place, but despite the labyrinth-like structure of the place, we all knew where to go.
I was in the front (because I always walk fast) with another girl who I've known since first grade (though she and I aren't great friends)
We exited the structure, which lacked a back wall, making it very easy to do so. I jumped down a small ledge of the glossy dark stone, and comfortable landed on the pearl-white sand, the mist covering the far to the sides... A path was illuminated across to where the sea actually met the land, which was a good twenty yards or so away still. Massive stone pillars bridge together by slabs of the same stone that were crumbling could be seen towering hundreds of feet above us, standing silent in the haze. It was truly magnificent.
The other girl, laura, we can call her, jumped down beside me, and walked ahead of me while I absorbed the scene. I began to follow. None of the others were even in sight of us yet.
As we approached the coast, it began to sprinkle. Not surprising considering the level of humidity and appearance of the clouds. But it was a cool rain and a warm day...
We stepped out of that path, turning our heads to see this lonely beach stretch on for miles by the great gray sea, making natural benches out of the large stones that had fallen from atop the pillars. A few palms could be seen, as well as much vegetation on the side lines, but the beach area and path a pure white sand, and the lush green was masked by fog.
We focused our attention on the sole spot to the left of the path, where as all the others stretched out to the right. To the left, the sea cut off the beach. We moved for it, but as we did so, the clouds fluxed, and where there had not been before, a funnel appeared in the sky.
She didn't notice. I stopped and called her attention to it, and she halted and backed away slowly. However, the funnel quickly approached the ground. After seconds, there was a massive splash as it touched down on the beach just feet away from where we had decided to sit. The rain instantly went from a pleasant light shower to a raging thunderstorm. And through all this, the sand remained unchanged, as if it was completely dry
Further, it was not a tornado, but a cyclone spinning about on the beach, even if it touched no other body of water to fuel it... Perhaps the rain? It still had the same suction power as a tornado though. We both made to run dropping our instruments (she only had a guitar), which flew up into the vacuum. However, she was closer to it than me, I turned around and had hardly moved three feet when I heard her scream.
She was being lifted off the ground as she ran. I went back to her, cautiously, though I was nearly airborne myself. The cyclone was rapidly approaching and within ten seconds we would both be enveloped in it. I reached my hand out as far as I could, yelled at her to grab it. She tried, but the outer winds of the cyclone picked her up as she did. She struggled against the force to try to get out- it didn't have a great hold on her as she was on the outer edge.
In a moment's irrationality, I jumped to reach her hand, and got it, though, I didn't make it back to the ground, I got her far enough away from the cyclone, which had for several seconds been idle as it grasped her. I hooked too fingers through the hair tie on her wrist, to keep a good hold, and still holding onto her hand. She did the same (yes, I always keep a couple hair ties with me).
Then for whatever, reason, the cyclone moved away from us, down the beach. The wind released her, and she fell on top of me, knocking me to the ground. About an inch of water had gathered on the beach floor, and by the time we both stood up it was two inches. Between the tide coming in, the cyclone and the amount of rain, it was a flash flood.
We raced back to the building, getting there just as another girl who I kinda like came into view. As we hopped back up the stone ledge into the building (which rain was oddly pouring into, I suppose through cracks in the old ceiling) we warned her there was flash flood, and pointed as the water level rose another two inches before our eyes. We all turned and ran, as the water was about to come over the ledge and spill into the structure.
We passed another boy almost immediately, who IRL was actually quite a perverted jerk, but in the dream acted respectably. We told him too, and he said he would take a different path than us three would, so he could get all the others.
We ran the way we had all come, up a stair case to the right, he continued down that hall. As we came up a second stair case, we yelled down at a girl and her friend we saw going down that hall underneath. They didn't even believe us though, and kept on moving, even though, there was an inch of standing water some places on pooling up on the floor, water flowing down across the stair cases, and the deep purple carpet was soaking. We passed that boy again, several times on the way out, and everyone but him and the two that didn't believe us about the flood made it out. On the outside it wasn't raining. We shut the large stone door and the water suddenly ceased to spill out across the stairs in front of the building.

I grew up not far from a beach and used to walk along it whenever I needed to unwind or think about something.

A few times I've had dreams where I've been walking along watching the waves come in. The first waves will be regular sized and then it's like my subconscious gets curious as to how big waves can get. Each wave will get slightly bigger and by the time my mind has finished toying with the idea, the waves are like huge, booming tsunamis.

I have a lot of strange dreams but I don't remember many of them.

It's very rare that I ever remember a dream two nights in a row, and I barely recall this one.

The brief summary is, it was the first day of school starting again (therefore making it a nightmare). I walked over to that one girl's house (who I mentioned in a much earlier post, the one who I asked out a while ago) (and I really have no clue where she lives, but in the dream she lived a few blocks away) to say hi, see how she was doing for getting ready for school and stuff, and she kept teasing me about liking her (even though, I was just put up to asking her out by some friends, she doesn't know that though, IRL or in the dream). Eventually I left, and was walking to school for some reason (I normally don't) and this guy on a skateboard came up behind me, from her house, and started talking to me.
I don't recall what he said his name was, but I remembered that, (IRL) the girl had said she liked a boy from her church named _____. I asked him if he knew her, and he said yes, and it was in fact him (even though I have no clue what he looks like IRL, or if he's even a skater). I fell silent, but continued to jog along him at a comfortable place, ignoring the time.
Eventually, I challenged him to a race to the school (not that he went there), and he accepted. And I beat him by a long shot (on foot, even though both my legs are still shot). He just took off after that, and I realized that fifth period was starting- I'd missed the first half of the day running there.
So I darted into the school, into a class. I recognized some people in it, and it was a history class, as is my real fifth period to be. However, it wasn't the right room (even though there aren't two history classes IRL).
I apologized to the teacher (who I don't know and don't hope really exists) for being late, and moved to take a seat but there were none left. So I sat on the floor in the back. The teacher then paused his lecture to explain his punishment for being late, misbehaving, not turning in assignments, etc. He took the class out of the room, including himself, leaving me in an empty room, and turned on a switch. A vent rose out of the middle of the floor, and started air conditioning the room.
In minutes, it was very cold. I was nearly shivering. The door opened, and that girl had come in, feeling sorry for me, and brought some blankets. The teacher allowed her to do this, but the agreement was she would have to stay in the room for the remainder of the time.
We talked some more, she still teased me a little. I apologized for her being in there.
The time ended, the vent disappeared, and the class regrouped in the room. I now had a seat, however.
For the remainder of the period the teacher ridiculed me for being late, unproductive, a burn out, etc, and the girl for taking pity. It turns out her having to stay in there was a punishment for pity.
The class ended, so did the dream.

This was the first dream I've had for as long as I can remember, where I actually saw myself in it. The entire part in the classroom, I was there as if looking through another person's eyes. That's the only real way to tell what your self-image is.
And apparently, my self image, is that I'm a burn-out, scraggy looking kid with no morals or respect for anyone or anything. And I'm a total loser who gets nothing accomplished, is a moron, and is pretty much hopeless. And ignorant. Fun.

The first thing I remember was being on a plane, and thinking about what I was going to do in Washington D.C. (Which apparently was where the plane was going.) It was flying really low, so I was watching things go by out the window. After a while, the plane suddenly stopped and landed on the ground. Everyone was forced to get out by a bunch of men in black suits. They handcuffed all of us and started separating us into groups. Then they marched us into buildings that were nearby, and put us into what looked like small dorm rooms, but with five to a room. We sat in there for a while, then one of our captors returned, gave us a paper with some instructions on it, and told us not to go to the room next door. Naturally, the first thing I did was get up to go to the room next door. I knocked on the door, but nobody answered, so I opened it to look inside. The people inside were all getting intimate with each other. I shut the door and went back to my room. I told my roommates "Hey, we should do that too!", but they just got mad and threw things at me.

I was in a kind of university building and there was a flood of sports gear - literally. Tennis balls, basketballs, soccer balls, bats and racquets were gushing through all the corridors and I was running up the stairs as the level got higher, desperate not to drown.

Analyse that.

I was with a group of people in a large mansion. Apparently, we had gotten lost and it was late, so the owner allowed us to stay for the night. But the inside of the mansion was like a maze, and he said that we had to search to find beds to sleep in. We walked around for a while, and the halls were really creepy. Gargoyle statues, suits of armor, paintings on the walls that looked like they were supposed to be depictions of hell, and such. We finally found a room with beds, but there weren't quite enough. Everyone except me got a bed, and I had to continue looking. I ran into a butler, and he said he could show me to where there was another bed. I followed him, and he took me into a small room, with desks lined up all along the walls. He opened a drawer in one of the desks, and inside there was a mini pillow and bedsheets, like the size mini boss would use. I told the butler I couldn't fit in there, and he got really angry.

I don't remember what happened after that.

It started where I was returning home after being away for several days. I don't remember where I had been, but I decided that the first thing I needed to do was go shopping. I went to a grocery store and bought tons of pasta, and nothing else. I was about to go home, but when I left the store, I was in what looked like a giant construction zone. The ground was flat and bare, and there were giant machines, several times the normal size. I found a construction worker and asked him what was going on. He said they were testing a new version of Windows, and I could watch if I wanted. The worker pressed a button to start the test, and a bunch of fighter planes appeared. A dogfight ensued, but before it was over, someone yelled "Oh no! It's the iMac!" I turned around to see a massive, black, walking mushroom. It was at least 3,000 feet tall, and had a face eerily similar to the Kool Aid guy. It started walking around and punching the ground, and every time it did it created a nuclear explosion.

I was searching for something, I don't remember what. Someone told me to go look for it in "The Frozen Village". Supposedly it was a village with arctic-like conditions in the middle of the desert. I didn't really believe him that it existed, but went looking anyways. After a while of traveling through the desert, the climate suddenly changed. It became really cold and there was snow everywhere. I saw a town nearby, and figured it was The Frozen Village. I talked to a few of the townspeople, and they told me the snow was the result of a curse that wouldn't let anyone leave town. I asked them "But what about me? I just came here looking for something, how do I get out?" and they replied "You don't, you're one of us now." After that, I went around trying to figure out how to get out of the village. A bunch of strange stuff happened when I was trying to get out, but I don't remember any of it now.
