How'd you fare through Katrina? D:

Euphorian - March 6, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
There was a kid from New Orleans who moved here and into our class last year after the hurricane, but I don't think he ever really talked about it. Which is odd because he was anything but introverted.

Morendo - March 7, 2007 01:33 AM (GMT)
Well the aftermath of the hurrican for me was quite different from that of my friends. I suffered minor flooding and a few holes in the roof and only a couple broken windows. I still had to spend a month in florida before i could come back to home, at which point the fridges contents had all spoiled due to lack of electrictity and it smelled REALLY REALLY bad :|. A few of my friends had to permantly relocate, but they come down and visit whenever the holidays allow :)

I've met a lot more people online from Singapore than from Cambodia or Laos. :P

lauscho - March 29, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)
Cambodians and Laosians probably couldn't browse this forum if they wanted to, due to media censorship from corrupt and/or strict governments, and economic problems preventing most people from having internet -_-
