in order of bestest to not as bestest...

1. haibane renmei: animated art... there really is no other way to describe it... it's a touching remarkable series... it's in a class of it's own...

2. rozen maiden: coming a close second... combines some kick arse fighting with sugary sweet cuteness... plus the story is pretty awesome too...

3. ghost in the shell, stand alone complex: i like the SAC series far more than the original movies, and now that SSS is out, i love both series and the movie as a whole, even more.

4. strawberry marshmallow: come on... how could anyone hate this show... seriously... it's cute and it's about nothing... no thinking is required to enjoy it so you can just switch off your brain and relax... i'm liking it double now that i've started reading the manga (just tonight actually)

5. ergo proxy: intellectual without being a thesis on being smart... action centered without being a mindless blood bath... pino... ... there's 3 reasons i love this show... :p

6. paniponi dash: azumanga daioh on drugs... seriously... this is one crazy show... and i'm lovin it the more i see... 'maho' makes it good :p

7. fullmetal alchemist: the first 'long arsed shonen' series i could stand... thought provoking, involving and just plain awesome...

8. R.O.D: both the OVA and R.O.D. the TV just plain rock... the manga is awesome as well...

9. gunslinger girl: heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time... with any luck series 2 WILL come out... tho it's still just a rumour at this point...

10.last exile: a captivating story, with some awesome animation and music... what else does a good show need...

there's my top 10... it was hard to pick, since really i only have 2 favourites, and then everything else in my collection...
