Title: Sora no Manimani

So I watched the first episode of this today, and I rather enjoyed it. Here is a description from MAL:

QUOTE
Saku Ooyagi returns to his hometown after seven years and is soon reacquainted with his childhood friend, Mihoshi Akeno.  The reunion is far from merry since the last memory they have of each other is of her falling off a tree and him saving her.  In any case, Mihoshi is determined to improved their relationship and forces Saku to join the astronomy club she founded.

Meet the members of the Astronomy Club:

This is the male protagonist, Ooyagi Saku. He likes books and hates being pestered by Mihoshi.

This is Akeno Mihoshi, Saku's childhood friend. She likes Saku and stargazing, and is extremely hyper. Did I mention that she likes to spy on Saku?

This is Yarai Sayo. She is... well, she is Sayo. I don't know.

This is the Astronomy Club President, Roma Takeyasu. He is dying. Seriously guys, aren't you worried about your Club President? Oh wait, nobody cares.

The beginning reminded me of Kanon, what with the whole
guy and girl are childhood friends, girl falls off of a tree and winds up in the hospital, then the guy skips town, only to return seven years later
thing. But overall it seems to be a fun and silly romantic comedy.

'Tis one of the shows of this season that I'm watching...would like to find out more of Mihoshi  ...she seems to be hiding something... :baka:

...surely one of the best shows of an already great anime season... arrr :arrr:

I was going to check this out, but I have been watching other stuff this season (and also have not felt like watching as much stuff in general). I will probably still check it out at some point, but who knows when!

You really should watch it. I think it's definitely up your alley. Fun characters and hilarity, and I'm also enjoying the astronomy aspects to it.
