Title: First Game
Stormin Norman - August 30, 2006 12:33 AM (GMT)
What was the first video game you ever played?
For me it was Pokemon Red Version. I was so obsessed with that game back in elementary school. :sweatdrop:
FallenSeraphim - August 30, 2006 01:00 AM (GMT)
Mine was The Legend of Zelda, my mom had a old NES system.
Bara-bara - August 30, 2006 01:09 AM (GMT)
Oh my. That must have been something from the days of the Commodore 64 or something, unless it was that paratroo.exe game that was on an old DOS-running computer we had.
...That was a long time ago though, so I don't remember names. ^^;
I do recall that the first console game I played was Mario World for the SNES, though. Never had a NES or anything of my own, y'see. ^_^
Suigintou's Friend - August 30, 2006 01:21 AM (GMT)
One of the first video games I remember playing was Gravity Master for the
TI-99/4A. There were also others, like a generic version of Clue. But I think Gravity Master is the one I remember best. I was around 3 or 4.
Glossarienvogel - August 30, 2006 01:28 AM (GMT)
Transylvania. Bizarre text game.
I mean, before that I had played Spider Man on the Commodore Somethingorother, but that wasn't so much playing as stabbing random keys and screaming, "WHY DOES THE LIZARD KEEP KILLING ME".
nekoconeko - August 30, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
I think the first game I played was... Kingdom Hearts, I got it for Christmas one year along with a brand new PS2.
Mago - August 30, 2006 05:48 AM (GMT)
Honesltly, I have no idea, but I'll just guess Super Mario Bros.

Styx Boatman - September 6, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
Mine was good old Super Mario Brothers 2 in the Nintendo "Family Computer" or Famicom...that was when I was a kid during the 1980's. Sure brings back memories. :whistling:

If you're calling it Famicom, then do you mean the Super Mario Bros 2 that was released in the US as Lost Worlds, or the game that was released in the US as SMB 2 and had radishes and shy guys?
Hojo - September 7, 2006 11:52 PM (GMT)
I think the very first game I played was Super Mario 64. I'm not sure. This was back when I was like, 3 or 4. It was either Super Mario 64, Tekken, or Pokemon Red. Honestly, I can't even remember. :/

I'm pretty sure Mario was still only dodging barrels thrown by Donkey Kong when I was 3 or 4. :sideways:

I actually got my dad to register that for me: the first three acts for $30. It came in the mail on a 5 1/4 floppy. I think that was the only shareware I'd ever paid for.

Holy Crap! Does anybody know what an Atari is...or looks like? Because it's awesome! ...and was my first love! As good as the games now are Atari pretty much PWNs them all! *__*
except for a good choice few. Mainly Zelda and Mario. MY OPINION!
I would say my first game ever played was either Pong or Pac man on the Atari.

I think a better question would be "Who doesn't"
Though I never used one.
I was stuck with a commodore 64 (which pwns all) and later a sega mastersystem (GO ALEX KIDD) and finally a sega megadrive(genesis for you americans). This was also my last console but it was damned awesome and I miss it.
lauscho - January 11, 2007 07:20 AM (GMT)

The first one I technically owned was Pokemon Red.
Chikane - April 13, 2007 06:00 AM (GMT)
The first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros 3 for the NES, over at my cousins house. The first game I ever owned was Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle for Genesis.

kokoa - April 23, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
I'm sad. I've never played a Playstation Game ever. May have a connection with the fact that I have no Playstation and my folks won't let me get one.
