So yes. In USA/Canada, Funimation will take over Geneon's release of Rozen Maiden. That means we'll see the last two Träumend DVDs. On a personal note, it also means I can finish collecting Higurashi and buy Nanoha when it comes out. :wub:

Hmm, I'm a little worried. Funimation's releases aren't usually that great...

Oh well, I already imported the Japanese DVDs, but at least RM will get more American exposure!

This. Region 1 releasing stopped at Träumend Vol. 1. I dunno about more extras, but that would be cool.

apparently... acording to AODVD... Funi plan to start releasing the geneon series that need to be completed as soon as august... hellsing ultimate as well as the others :D

a little miffed that it will take longer for them to release the series they got off of ADV... but kanon can wait... this is rozen maiden traumend we're talking about here...

Hmmm...I've got the entire series in Chinese subs, so I've got no desire for this, but this would bring more fans in, and that's always good.

I'm pretty darn excited about this. I purposely didn't but Träumend 1 because I wanted all of them to look alike. Since I have al the first season, I don't have to worry about it much. That is unless there are extras that were not available on the Geneon discs. I doubt it though.

According to ANN, the first season (DVDs 1-3) will be released as a box-set only on September 16. I assume the rest of the single DVDs will come over the course of the fall/winter.

WOOT WOOT ^^ we may even see a season 3, but that may be pushing it LOL. I think i'm going to get the box sets of the anime when i get the money for it ^^

robert's anime corner store, has rozen maiden traumend volume 2 available for pre order... release date october 28th...

that's still ages away, and reminds me of the months when it was originally announced that RM got licensed.. in my opinion it's well worth the wait... chiefly for 2 reasons...

1) episode 5 of RM traumend and kanaria's exploits... in english!! yay!
and
2) megu's grand entrance in english... Erica Weinstein (formerly of Reki from another favourite show of mine, Haibane Renmei) is doing her voice from what ANN tells me...(add that as reason 3 to be exited in my books)...

all in all, looking forward to the end of october...

P.S. i'm still wondering if i should get when they cry: higurashi when all 4 volumes are out propper... i couldn't stand to watch all of it fansubbed... depressed the hell outa me... but it is a good series, and pickings are slim at the moment...
