Here is our next Rosa Mystica Forums contest, inspired by Bara-bara.

We're having a writing contest based on this thread: The Anime Series Generator. Basically, you will write an episode of an anime with a description that has been posted in that thread. It can be the first episode, last episode, somewhere in the middle... whatever suits your idea!

Contest Rules:
1. The subject of your episode must be posted in the Anime Series Generator thread with an added description.
2. It can be either something that you have posted or something that someone else has posted in the past. It can be something that is posted in that thread during the contest run, but only through June 27th PST (-8 GMT). Any anime title/description posted in that thread after June 27th is not eligible to be written about for the contest.
3. Entries must fall between 500 words and 2000 words.
4. All entries must be PM'ed to Suigintou's Friend by the end of Friday, July 11th, -8 GMT.


I need three judges to help me with this. Judges cannot enter the contest. So if you don't feel like writing, but would still like to be part of it, please PM me about it. Do not post in this thread, but instead PM me, if you want to help judge the contest. Please do not post your entries in this thread. PM them to me when finished.

I hope to see lots of new anime in production! I might get in on this myself, actually. If you have any questions about the contest, feel free to ask here. Also, if you notice anything I screwed up, let me know!

Hehe, I intend to have a go at this, although I may fall foul of either the word limit or having no idea what I'm doing. Should still be fun, though, even if I can't officially enter it. XD

Edit: Also, to be clear, are there any restrictions on format? (Script/prose only, for example.)

Either narrative or script format is acceptable.

Bara, if you go over the word limit, as long as it's not by like a thousand words, I won't mind. The upper end of the word limit is really more of a guideline so that we don't get a novel. :P

Just a heads-up that there is one week left for contest entries to be submitted!

The contest is now closed. Judging will begin and take as long as necessary since one of our judges is actually on vacation for a couple weeks! :P
