Have you ever dyed your hair? I've done it a few times. Normally I have brown hair. In high school, I first tried the sun-in highlights stuff and used it a lot so that the top of my head became blondish/red. In my senior year I dyed my hair bright orange, just because.

And I've done blue-black a couple times, once just to try something different and see how it looked (really good being curly and pretty long for me), and once to cosplay Jun at Otakon 2006.

I'm too pretty to dye.

Naturally, my hair is golden blonde.

My first permanent dye job was black with blue bangs and face-framing streaks.
Then, I went platinum blonde on the top with a black layer underneath.
Now, my hair is all black. (Well, I dyed it black, but it's faded to brown, so I'm getting it redone tomorrow.)

I've also done various temporary dye jobs, like natural red, fire-truck red, brown streaks, etc. The kinds of things that wash out after a few showers.

Permanently: Black with red streaks, black with blue streaks (CASSHAIR!), bright pink (what I have now).

Temporarily: Dark red, dark pink, purple.

Oh, and it's naturally dark brown.

I hate dyed hair in all varieties.

I got my hair re-dyed today. The color looks great, but the lady messed up my bangs. ><

I've never had it dyed, or plan to. I like my hair colour. It's shiny~

ive never had my hair dye i also dont plan to because i like my brown hair

I dyed my hair white because my hair was black and it kelpt giving me head achs because I have alot of hair and when you're out in the sun for along time darker colors take in more light thus giving me my head achs. plus I dyed it white because it looks cool.

I would have just suggested a hat. =P


And although my hair is also (naturally) black and long, I can't say I've noticed the same problem; that may be due to avoiding heat when possible or dressing in a way that tends to make me overheat anyway, though...

Edit: Oh, and I was one of those to pick the 'never dyed, or intend to' option.

Maybe it's just me, but you seem to hate a lot of things XD Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I've never dyed my hair. Thought about streaking it red or purple, but since it's dark brown, I'm always afraid that the color will be too muddy. Ah, well.

My hair's dark brown, too. When we did it orange, we bleached it blonde beforehand. That way the color is a lot brighter. But if you're doing streaks, it might be harder to bleach just parts of it. But that's the way around muddy color.

Ooh, I see! I don't want to bleach my hair because I heard it can cause damage and I always want to take care of my hair, because it's the one thing about my physical appearance I like LOL

Bleaching your hair can cause damage, but so can coloring it, so you might as well go all the way. :P

If your hair is naturally healthy, bleaching it shouldn't cause damage. If your hair is naturally sorta thin and dry, bleaching it will cause damage, but only over multiple bleachings. Pretty much everyone in the world can get away with bleaching their hair once.

First I dyed my hair to more red than normally, then black, because I asked it for my 17th birthday, then I had to dye it blonde and then red, because cosplayed Little My in my high schools party.
Now I'm back in black. XP

I recently went back to the salon and got my black dye job refreshed, since it was fading. I also got a streak bleached by the side of my face. It looks pretty neato.

I've never dyed my hair, nor do I plan to. I love my natural hair colour :wub: .

I'd love to dye my hair. Bright pink. Neon, if possible. Either that or black. Something tells me that some colours, like blue or silver, wouldn't work with my natural hair colour...which sucks.

I don't plan to dye it, mainly because I imagine I'm the type of person who would put off dying it a second time until my roots were painfully obvious, but also because I like the natural brown of my hair.

If I ever did dye it, it would probably be either navy blue or burgundy.

I had my hair dyed green in elementary school, but since then I kept it the way it is by nature - black. Don´t want to die it again as I´m pretty satisfied with my hair as it is today...

Well, after I washed my hair, the black dye bled out all over my hair... so much for that blonde streak. The black is still holding up, tho.

Here's a topic: we call blonde-haired people blondes, brown-haired people brunettes, red-haired people redheads... so what about other colors?

My mom has dark brown hair with a white spot, but she dyes the spot. ;(

:arrr: ...I'm proud of the colour of my hair (East Asian black) and I shall NEVER...NEVER DYE IT...even if it turns grey eventually (grey hair looks looks dignified with the right kind of styling)...:cool:

....I wish though that my hair was straighter and not wavy...I'm male and the waviness does not seem to really suit me... :sad:

I once dyed part of my hair green.
Well not really, I was sleeping, (I'm blonde) so somebody decided to spray some of my hair green.
I didn't notice, because it was a very faint shade of green (which I cannot distinguish from my natural color)
It was very funny at school :P

Mine is dyed a lighter brown with blond highlights.

I'm the regrowth queen though (naturally dark brown). I'm too lazy to dye my hair often enough.

Looking through this thread, I am surprised to see that I did not reply the first time around.

Anyways, I have not dyed my hair, and I never plan to. My sexy brown hair will stay as is. Haha, take that hair dye!

My hair is dirty dish water blonde naturally. People keep telling me they'd kill for my natural color but I keep dying it. First I dyed it about 3 times in 1 weekend, all turned out crappy, the last one looked pink. The next thing I tried was black with purple streaks, which turned out pretty good. Then, after I got sick of the purple, I kept the black but changed to red streaks. That looked pretty good, too. The color I have now is supposed to be bright red and, it was for a couple days. But then it faded to more of a brown with hot roots. I'm getting it redone soon, though. And, since I'm not going from black this time, it should turn out better.

I just recently dyed my bangs hot pink out of boredom.
I figured that I might as well go for it since it's hair and it'll just grow out eventually.
It was the first time in awhile since I've dyed my hair though.
Other than that, I dyed my hair purple, blue and green when I was younger but just streaks.

I never dyed my hair and I do not plan too either.
