Hello everyone. My name is Chris, I hail from near Orlando, Florida. I apoligize in advance, it might be long. (I dunno when to shut up.)
I am a fan of some comics, sports like hockey and football. I am a bit of a gamer. I do play Halo 3, but I love a good arcade style game as well. I watch wrestling, but not as much as I used to. Music is my life. I do hobby DJ work and make mixtapes for people. I am a huge fan of Rock music, most 80's, Trance, pretty much anything but country. I work for Disney. I also do some photography, but I don't usually have the time.
As for being a fan and the reason why I am here today... Well, I have known about Rozen Maiden for the past 2 years, just wasn't into it. The only reason I even got into RM was mainly because of a friend, who had seen it and read the manga and told me about it. So, it was pretty much on the back of my mind as far as new stuff to read. The only anime I have ever watched entirely at the time was Pita Ten and Princess Princess. Still a big fan of those. I had found the infamous episode 5 of RM on YouTube back in January, watched it and I loved it! I then began watching the rest of the first season from episode 1, then about a week later, read the manga. Everything else fell into place, and became a big fan of Rozen Maiden since this past February. I went to MegaCon later that month and bought a couple of Rozen Maiden things. Didn't go crazy though. I had some comic stuff to get as well. :P I eventually found this site doing some searching for Suigintou pictures and fan stuff. Lurked for a while, then I decided that this was a nice group and joined. (I'm not a fan of forums much. Too much drama usually.)
My favorite doll is Suigintou. She strikes me as someone who is a determined, go-at-any-cost warrior. She has so much to learn, yet more and more tries to understand her true purpose. Even from the first season, you can tell she cares for Shinku, despite what happened in their past (I sense the respect). Even to the 2nd season and OVA, she is respectful and caring enough to others. She is willing to learn and sacrifice. I believe she will be Alice. :wub: (Geez, it sounds like a campaign for the presidency!) OK, maybe that is a bit much, but I think she is cool. totally B.A. but compassionate.
OK, enough! :blush: LOL I told ya I dunno when to shut up. :D Anyhoo, I'd like to make some new friends here and be able to have some fun. Thank you for alowing me to bore you. LOL
