Every time a new topic comes up, the DERAIL count will go up. What does the DERAIL count mean? Who cares? This is to see how many times we can stay on topic.

Yeah, so I completely hate the reception we get as gamers. Either we are total geeks (frankly some of us here are) or sadistic psychopaths (frankly some of us here are). What can we do to abandon this stereotype?

I'd like to think I'm only a little bit of both, more one the psycho part, but yeah. We get a bad rep.

idk man, i'ld say if anything take up a sport or something that will scare ppl....like archery or marksmanship, i do both, lol....

Well, here's the thing: I'm a socialite I play some sports and I go to concerts. But whenever I say "I play games" people who I associate practically abandon me and label me as "geek" or "crazy person" (I can agree with the latter, BUT!). It just angers me.

My one friend just thinks anything I do is geeky because I play video games :/

well i dont care.....cuz every1 i hang out with plays video games....except my gf.....so it doesnt matter to much....cuz every1 in our school does it lol!
