I have been wondering since seeing many of MDM's vids. Mana spins around like a nut cake (a neat nut cake at that), and yet he never seems to have to avoid cords from his or the others' instruments. Come to think of it, K seems free of cord entanglement as well.

In one pic I have of Mana, he is standing looking like the music god he is, and I can see a cord leading out of the guitar, to the strap, along the strap, to what appears to be a box. But because of the angle, it is unclear what this object actually is.

For those that have been to a concert, are you able to tell if their equipment is in fact wireless?

If it is, that is something new I have learned of.

if you look at the 1:19 you see the gtrs equipment with wire

but when they're playing, i can't see the wire...

and in here i don't see any cable on the floor of the stage...

maybe they just don't use cables. :smirk:

Indeed it does appear they have wireless transmitters connected to their instrument straps. I had no idea such things existed.

And yes by cords I meant cables. The transmission line between the instrument, and the mixing table, or amp. In MDM's case there appears to be a wireless connection between the two items.

i've been searching quickly about wireless systems and they seem to be more common than i thought xD

but as far as i could understand, though it's very much comfortable and besides the fact that you won't trip with cables or the stage appearance it's nicer. they're not much trustable because the transmition is in risk to fail at any moment during the live but like everything, it all depends on the quality of the equipment.

I think i prefer the usual cable-tangled equipment xD

yep, they had little black boxes on their back's at the last live. Near the beginning, it looked like Mana nearly lost his because he was suddenly fixing his strap frantically.

They didn't have any wires in Paris...
If they did, Mana and K would have been running like like leashed puppies on wet tiles....
