Gah.. I finally sat down last night and really thought this out, and I can't go. This is really painful for me to be missing his first show here in the States.

Aggh, Im trying to ee if I can go. Mom's like "ur not going to be in LA for 4 days alone in a con!!" So mayb if my uncle can acompany me just for july 2nd, I can go... but that also makes me think, why would I spend $800 to go to LA for just 3/4 songs?

I guess with that comeback we're safe from Thetans lol

yes, a concert, it's on the schedule at the AX site, plus MA got an email apologizing that members cannot get tickets through them. :(

second, by star in my eyes, I mean the visual effect that happens just before fainting. I have nerve damage and I get weird effects. My spine was damaged in a violent beating years ago and I still have weird effects, especially if I start to go into shock. I'm also essentially a shut-in, I have PTSD and agoraphobia with acute crowd-based claustrophobia. So....the prospect of this trip is......panic-inducing at best.

There's other stress....*sigh* my head may just explode.

Wow.. I really want to go to this. Forgive me if I'm dense but how do you get the tickets? It looked like it was too late to get them if not already registered for the expo. Anyone with info please advise. Thanks!

Don't worry, it's not too late!!! All you have to do is register on the anime expo site. You buy a pass for thursday, then, on the VERY LAST page of registration, you click add tickets by the total. Then you will type in 1 under the quantity next to the event on thursday (when i did this is still said TBD but they may have changed it to m10m) and voila! It will cost you 50 dollars to do this. (20 for the m10m concert and 30 to get into the expo)

SO FREAKING EXCITED

yeah, I got mine.

300 for airfare
150 for hotel
85 for expo pass and ticket

seeing Mana= priceless


So....there WILL be a panel discussion on friday which I intend to attend. IF I get a good seat and IF I get a chance to ask a question, what should I ask?

Also...is there anyone who needs a place to crash thursday night? I'll have a hotel room by myself. Just a single king sized bed, but if it'll allow someone to go who might otherwise not be able to, I'm willing to arrange to share, please send me a private message if you need a place. As I am 34 and a mom, it will NOT be a party all night kind of thing. B)

I had to add my ticket after by phone and they are on the east coast, only 9-5 so be awareof time zones and stuff. But I'm all set too. I hope that open slot after the panel on friday is for signing. :)
