This is a thread to let everyone know when Moitie makes updates.
You can add discussion if you like, but be sure to use this thread to announce any updates of new items, events, or locations. As for new items, you can post when they update the item list on both the Japanese website AND when they get the items in on abroad sites such as CDJapan and MaruiOne! :D

Here are a few announcements I have for Moitie.

Moi-meme-Moitie Shinjuku Shop moving and restarting information

At the end of the month of February 2009 Marui City Shinjuku - Inside 2 Kera Shop Angel we will be restarting along with the whole area of Marui Young Shinjuku, including the Moi-meme-Moitie Shinjuku shop.
Marui Young Shinjuku will still be in business on January 21 (Wednesday).
From then on from January 22 (Thursday) - the end of February, we will be taking a short break from business.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause hope for your understanding.

I think the socks are truly adorable! In fact, I'm thinking about getting one of each kind since I'm really in love with them! Hopefully they will be posted on CDJapan or Maruione before they all get sold out. I also hope this means more items will be showing up soon. I'm so excited about seeing the spring collection and hoping for either for a really nice print OP/skirt or a cute blouse!

I specially like the first one. Hopefully they will appear on cdjapan soon. Because i dont own any Moitie socks yet, and i would love to buy those knee socks...

I also hope they will release new dresses soon since i'm saving up for one. There are already nice ones on CDjapan and Maruione but maybe the new ones will be nicer. xD

Yes, I believe that is correct. As far as what I have checked up on various Maruione websites, it says that all the shops within Marui Young (the gothic and lolita shops) will be compeltely closed for business until late February. Good thing too, because some other shops look as though they're going to be closed for business until April. On the other hand, I don't think any internet purchases are affected by this.

I hope I explain this right, but the Kera shop is located within the same malls Moitie is always in and carries a huge assortment of gothic and lolita style clothes (I'm sure you know this). Since it has a major influence on underground fashions, I have heard of people in Japan considering the entire area as the "Kera Shop". I assume the reference to Kera Shop has something to do with the fact that Moitie will be located within the same vicinity it was already in next to the Kera Shop.

All the stores within Marui Young/Kera Shop area will be moved completely to a new location a few blocks behind where it already was, or so it seems from this map:

If you look at the picture on the webiste, you will notice with the image of Moitie there are several pieces listed. These include the following:

Iron Gate Print, Candelabra Print, Chandelier Print, Gothic Arch Print, and Cathedral Print. This includes any style of skirt, One piece, and jumper skirt. Everything seems to be ranging in price between 5,000 yen - 18,000 yen

Oh, how I wish they'd put some of the EGA coats on sale, so a poor student could afford one.

I didn't realize this before, but someone on my LJ informed me that Closet Child has offered this sale before, but nobody has actually ever seen any of these being sold in this way...so I guess its something like IF they get the items in they'll sell them for that price. Its like you said, Closet Child is a second hand shop, so they get things from other people. I guess they just do this to get hopes up or something? XD
