I don't know about you guys, but to me, the whole Garnet PV screams out DEAH EATERS!I mean, I read all the HP books... and I just could help thinking it.
With the snake, the crosses, the capes, and most especially the scenery....

Does anybody else think the same?

yes I think so too, when people think about malice mizer they usually think about the Beast Of Blood PV but I like the Garent PV

yeah! i love Beast of Blood PV too much as well, but Garnet is great too! i will cosplay Mana in Garnet for february 1st :D

Ummm... The Death Eaters were first introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which was published on July 8, 2000 and the Garnet single was released on November 30, 2001 so just a bit more than a year after. If Mana did read the book, I doubt he's one of the big fans who got it as soon as it came out. Considering it takes some time to make a PV, it's most likely not related to Death Eaters.

well yeah, it does remind me of death eaters a little bit. But I doubt he got the inspiration to do Garnet from the death eaters.....or harry potter for that matter.

ok, jk rowling is British and uses many traditional Western Mystery Tradition symbols for her books, a simple google search on many terms associated with the books will turn this up.

It is also a known fact that Mana has occult interests which range into the same tradition.

So, no, Garnet IS NOT a Harry Potter reference, both those works of art point to similar uses of symbol and the larger tradition from which those symbols spring.
