For me, they are for ljubljana - tokyo 1040€ and for klagenfurt - tokyo 880€. Klagenfurt is about 90km away from Ljubljana...

Dis is from Deus-Dei = God and Inferno from Infernus-Inferni = Hell. Both words are ablative or dative, but I dont´know how to translate Dis Inferno....

But as far as expenses go, I suppose it depends on how far along the road you're willing to save up for an event like this. I'm sure if you have a good job and you save up all the money you can without buying unnecessary expenses anyone could pull it off (even if it takes a couple years). I was just lucky when I got to go to Japan because it was a graduation gift from my parents, but part of that I think was out of pitty too...(long story). HOWEVER, I did have to pay for the Moitie myself. I worked during the summers and saved up money pretty much my entire time in high school in hopes that one day I would be able to use that money in Japan. XD

As far as planes go, I think tickets to Japan are sometimes cheaper during certain times of the year! :D I had a friend who went last winter and I think she paid less than half the price I paid to go during the summer. Another thing to make it cheaper is to book the flight during the week days instead of the weekend because then again, the price is lower to fly Monday - Friday. I think my flight during the summer was $1,300 and for my friend who went in the winter, the price was a little over $900. Granted that was last year...this year the American economy is bad, so looking at Continental right now it looks like the cheapest flights from Houston to Narita around the time of Dis Inferno are $1,436. ):

$1,436 to get to Japan still isn't too bad considering it cost me a lil bit over $900 (Canadian) for my flight to London.

Mana owes us a new album and a WORLD tour next year to make up for the way he treated us in 2008!

btw... i was wondering in which time would be better go to see Mana? for his b-day or for Dis Inferno? it would be impossible to me going both!!! unless i'd get a grant... i could get a grant for only 6 moths if i study japanese (i'm planning do that!) or if i am a teacher, i'd like being a teacher, but it would take me too much time to do that (even if i'm about 3 months to finish my social service, but my path is other...)

It depends on what your interests are, I guess.

During Dis Inferno they do a ton of different acts (every band member hosts their own "skit" or session band) and they also add in a special musical guest every year. Personally, I think it would be the most fun to go to Dis Inferno because they do so much for the event and you get the bonus of seeing more than one band play at the same concert.

As for Mana's birthday, that also seems like a lot of fun! The only thing is, I think the events are starting to turn into a bit of a ritual -- Mana has a Q&A and they bring out a birthday cake for him and then a concert.

I suppose Mana's birthday would be worth it if you want ALL the focus on Mana, but Dis Inferno might be a better choice if you want to go and see a variety of "events" during the concert. As much as I would love to see a concert with all its focus on Mana, I think in the end it would be more fun to go see Dis Inferno because it has always been regarded as a huge event thats supposed to be a ton of fun.

If they don't do a European Tour, i will never see then because for me it is toooo expensive to go to Japan or to US. I am thinking about going to US two years later (our university organises travel), but i am not sure about this. My room mate goes to US this summer so maybe i will try to go when she tells me everything about her travel. But anyway, first of all i would like to see more European cities and... to see Moi dix Mois at Wave Gothic Treffen this year. I do hope Mana comes to Europe again (near my country), so i will be able to see them without spending lots of money.

i understand you! actually is impossible for me going to Japan... but maybe in the end of the next year i coul manage to a bank loan or something to go to Japan (i also love another japanese bands and love japanese style... i love too much things from Japan besides Mana and MdM) and i'm agree with you, i'd love to see them live in Europe, i think it would be way much better see them in Europe than Japan or even the US, if i could have a choice... i would choice going to Europe and see them live in there! anyway, in some moment of my life i would like going to Europe cause i love it! and if i could have a chance to see MdM in there, i mean if when i could manage going to Europe MdM is still active, no doubt i would do it! I really hope they go over there again so you can see them live and then tells me about it! <33

@Sarah, so it seems Dis Inferno is better than Mana's b-day... i would like to see Mana's b-day concert cause it's his birthday... but that's a stupid reason so i think i would manage to go to a Dis Inferno if i can, well, i'm still young and life's long and i'm prepared enough to have a good job... (not to be rich but... i usually don't waste money in unnecesary things) maybe in more years i could manage to go to Mana's birthday :rolleyes:

I haven't been in Dis inferno, but I have been in Mana-sama's birthday.
I can say that it was very amazing! Or well, every MdM concert is!
But that was special to me, because it was my first concert in Japan. And in abroad!
I'm sure Dis inferno have more shows and as Sarah said there is some other guest.
But in Mana's b-day the Q&A was very funny even tough, my japanese is very poor XD
The atmosphere is so great there! Everyone focused on Mana. (I want to go again!)
They also took pictures of the audience, which was nice ^^
First when the curtains opened theyl played maybe 2 songs (I can't remember) then was the Q&A, cake, pictures and they ended the event with a concert. They didn't play so much songs, because of the other shows, but I'm sure in Dix inferno it is the same.

But which one of those two you will choose, you will surely have fun!
(sorry, that sentence is so wierd, but I don't know how else to write it XD)
I mean, I have been in two MdM concerts total for now and I can't choose which one of them was better! They were so great and unique on thei own ^^

lips_blood_red, it woult be so great to go to Dis inferno together, but my exams are at the same time so i can go only to Mana's birthday party. I also don't have engouth money to pay for a fly... it is so expencive.

so sad you can't go to Dis Inferno... T_T... and for me is really much expensive a fly as well (about... 2,000 dollars at least...T_T) but i'll atempt to get the money and go tho dis Inferno VII... if i can't... the i'll go to Dis Inferno VII (if there's a Dis Inferno VII) anyway, i'm thinking really serious about getting the grant so i will go for that as well, these are the only ways i have to go to Japan.
