Just letting everyone know from September 5 - 15, Moitie will be releasing this year's XMas items for preorder!

If you're interested in ordering, let me explain how it works (for those of you who don't know).

As always, the items will be listed on the Rakuten Moi-meme-Moitie website first and you can go check out what they will have.

Usually CDJapan will update within a few days of these preorder items for those of us who want to purchase overseas as well. Also, I've noticed the deadline is usually extended a little once the items are put on CDJapan so us foreigner buyers also get our chance to preorder as well. This may not always happen, but I know thats how it has worked the past couple of years.

Once you find the item you want to order, you can place it as a preorder with CDJapan just like you would with any other preorder item they offer.


These XMas items are PREORDER ONLY. After the 10 day span, you cannot order these items again as they are specially made for you if you choose to so order them. You DO NOT have to pay up front. The items are usually shipped out late November so they can be sent within a reasonable time, usually before Christmas. You will be billed by CDJapan sometime AFTER the item has been shipped (usually they bill you about 2 weeks or so later, but always be prepared to expect earlier).

For those of you who are planning on purchasing Moitie in the near future, I really think this is a great chance! The items are a little more expensive then usual, but these Christmas items are specially made just for the person who buys them, so not only will you be getting a great Moitie item, you will be getting something made just for you! :D

I think I'll ask for some Moi meme Moitie again this year... I can't normally afford it. But hopefully my mom would help me out...

That doesn't sound safe for them... what if people order now and bug out later when they realize they don't have enough money?

You have a cancellation period. Its not very long, but you can cancel or just send it back.

I wonder if the items will be any good this year. Last years were quite dissapointing other than a pretty onepiece. My mum said she'd get me something for christmas if i want.

(I feel really bad about it though, money is tight and i feel like such a spoilt bitch, asking for such expensive gear i don't need)

So... I'm confused about this. Do they NOT release any other clothes for the "winter" season? Like, if you don't order within the... what is it, a five day time span, then your out of luck until like... spring?

And... stupid question, but are they winter/christmas themed? lol, it's just that everytime I read "xmas items" I think of Mana in a santa hat... ooh

mmm...that's interesting... so i can preorder and cancel it in case ia can't afford it... i don't use to do this sort of things but... i might wait to see the prices and clothes and then decide...

aw! yr lucky... i thought about ask my dad to bought me a moitie for a graduation present, but i know he has not money now so i won't... X(

Usually new items come out monthly so you really wouldn't be missing out on too much. Really the only thing that makes these items special is that they can ONLY be ordered for a 10 day span and then they are custom made for the buyer. Other than that, no they're not Christmas themed. XD

Thats the OP I ordered last year during the "Xmas special".
Most everything is similar to that in the regard that its typically just another Moitie piece, and not specifically Christmas related. I guess you could consider most of the stuff Winter related, because its a lot of coats since its during the winter season.


Usually the items sold are EGA coats/jackets, EGL OPs, and EGL coats/jackets.
But yes, after that 10 day span you are out of luck with these items. They're basically now or never, unless you so happen to find them in a second hand shop (which I've never seen before...but it COULD happen). Theres still plenty of opportunity with more Moitie clothes in the future, its just the catch with these items is that they're custom made and limited edition, so a lot of Moitie collectors really look forward to this event. (^^)

Urg, I'm not impressed by the coat.
I love the jumperskirt but there is no chance in hell I'm spending that kinda money on it, it's more expensive than the coat! Serious price inflation.

Not really fond of the coat. Some of their normal coats looks better than that.

Yep, it is usually a good idea to wear a blouse underneath it, it conveys more modesty.

Wow, the dress is gorgeous. I have been saving to get my first Moitie piece and that might need to be it! I like the coat as well, but I don't think I would wear it myself. Seems like a guy item. The velvet coat that's been out for a while is the one I want!

Oh i have an ITS petti, but in all honesty it isn't that good :/ it clumps up and looks weird and stuff. it even started to lose its poof and i had to add another layer of tool! (i have the princess petti btw) So i guess i am just hoping to find something that won't let me down.
