Anyone..has any directions on his hair? Particularly this style?

oh! Thats easy! All Mana did was probably put this hair up in pig tails and tightly wrap each pigtail up into a bun, then add extensions.
You can find extensions at places like www.ikickshins.net or ebay. What I would probably do, is buy a few extensions and find instructions online on how to put in weave into your hair and try to work around with it then style it how you like.

To tell you the truth, I've never worked with real extensions in my hair before. At the moment I'm kind of trying to take wefts of hair from a wig and turn them into extensions for a Kyomu Mana cosplay but I don't know how its going to turn out. XD

www.ragdolly.net used to be a great place to buy extensions but now they're only selling bulk supplies of fake hair. However, if you look at the top of the page there is a section that says "how to" which might help. I didn't read through all of it but what I did read seemed pretty informative.

Hmm. What about clothing. I know he makes his own (I do too. ^^; ), but any sewing pattern I should try/store I should look at?

Its kind of hard to tell, but it looks like a low cut shirt, a mini jacket, and a skirt. Simplicity and McCalls have patterns that are easy to modify. I would try looking for a shirt, jacket, and skirt pattern like I said and modify it from there.(^^)v

awwww don't feel sad. I'm sure you have a better chance at meeting him than I do. I live all the way over in Canada, and I highly doubt that Mana or MdM for that matter would come all the way out to Canada for just one concert. Especially since I live in Manitoba and MdM is more likely to go to someplace a little more populated like Toronto or Ottawa or Quebec City. (sigh.....) I'll never meet him..... :unsure: :(

Awww, dont say that Manic Macabre. You never know, it is more quite possible to see him in concert or meet him than you think.

You just have to be patient. Im sure if anything he would come to Canada too. I guess just right now, he's slowly but surely conquering the world. Just currently working on Europe, heh.

So, maybe if Mana-Sama doesn't come to Canada (heaven forbid, lol) then you can always move to Japan to be closer to it all. lol

I'm really excited. I'm moving to Japan for a month this summer...but on the flip side, Moi dix Mois is supposed to come play in the US sometime in 2007. I'm really worried they're going to decide to come over right as I'm leaving for Japan. ): That would be a disaster.

That would be a diaster. I wish I could go to Japan. But in order to do that, I'm going to have to wait until I'm much older and have my own job. Well, Moi Dix Mois is coming over here! I wish I could go to one of their concerts! T_T

This is going off the topic but I am going to cosplay Mana at Otakon. Otakon is the anime convention in Baltimore. I am going in the Saikai no chi to bara outfit and I am wondering what is the best approach to the hair. This is my first cosplay and so I am a little clueless :(

That sound pretty cool. You should ask Sarah. She's good when it comes to cosplaying Mana. I've seen a few pictures and man does she look awesome! Her hair is what gets me like, "O_O So pretty!" XD

Yes, it seems Sarah does know a lot but I like to hear from everyone else as well. I don't want to burden Sarah with my awful randomness lol

Hmmmm a wig would be nice but I like using my own hair though but for Mana cosplay that might be like impossible.

My mom and I used to make everything together, but through I guess the past year and a half now I've been buying more clothes from Moi-meme-Moitie, so now I do a little of both.(^^)v
