Wee! Colossalcon really sucked royal ass, but i did have fun...sort of. I got to help out with the lolita panel. I basically talked about Mana, because the hostess did not have as much knowlege of him as i do (no offense to her). She asked me, and i did it. At first I wasn't nervous. At all. But when it was my turn to talk i was like " Yeah...um...Mana...He's got a band...and his own clothing line" Momo was like " Speak louder!" lol I don't think anyone understood me, i was talking too fast and too quiet. I was supposed to put on Dixanadu, but the equipment wasn't working (thats a whole other story) and i was getting pretty pissed. But here looky!

I've done something similar to you before. XD We had a huge panel at a convention once and I had to talk about Mana and his influence within the lolita fashion. At first I wasn't nervous either but then I started to get REALLY nervous and started slipping up and saying things like "umm...Mana is in a band.." like you did. XDDD After a while I got used to it though, and it wasn't so bad. :3

I'm the boy in the Mushroomhead shirt to the left with the kettle. What I said in the vid was " Oh, one thing you forgot to mention ...piercing's aren't...lolita...really..." I seriously wasn't that nervous, but once I started talking, I was like " Oh shit....where do I begin..." THEN I got nervous, but eventually I got the ball rolling and said the basics, how Mana popularized lolita, about Moi dix Mois. I even passed my Dixanadu cd around. Then, as the panel came to an end, I pulled the " Oh, by the way, those are all guys" card. BOY that never gets old! :D
I met that girl at last years colossalcon. The only people in that panel were like, me, my then boyfriend, and about 10 people. This year, I went out for a cigarette (which is ironically how I met Matt) and found that girl again. After the " OH I REMEMBER YOU!!!"'s, I was like " I can help!". We had like, 50 people in that little room, BIG step up from last year. Some of them had to go outside and watch from the patio.
