ok, the last weekend i hang out with my sis and we went to "el chopo" that is some kind of place where all the urban cultures join togheter to make exchange of art, clothing, music, etc, etc...in there, i found a magazine wich has :mana: in the cover, so i, after recover my voice and moves because i thought it was IMPOSSIBLE to see Mana in a mexican magazine, go and bought it...it is a new indie magazine that's an hybrid about japanese urban culture (j-rock, anime, manga, and all that) and gothic stuff...it's name is "Dragon Oscuro" i bought the vol.5...but the reason that takes me to open this thread is because in that magazine they dedicate 6 pages to Mana, talking about the basical things we all know about him, but something specially attract my attention; they say that Kamijo and Mana are closer friends, and that Kamijo paricipated with Mana in the Dix Inferno parties...they don't say anything else about it...

so my question is:

is that true that Kamijo and Mana are closer friends???

and what kind of participation had Kamijo in Dix Inferno parties???

i've never read about this before, and the person that write the article don't say it's references, and the magazine has no website cause it's indie, i only have the e-mail to contact them, but i think it was easier and faster to ask you :P
i just think it would be really cool if Mana and Kamijo are friends cause i love them both and that make bigger the possibility to have them working together, and if Kamijo has already participated/work with Mana in someway, i want to know in wich way, if musically or how...

sadly i don't know Konoma...but i'm going to look about him, not everyone has the honor to play with Mana on the stage, and play Baroque, i mean, we're talking about a perfect coordination of the both guitars, so Konoma must be an excellent guitarist...

that stage must have been full of a very much imponent personalities, if i would be there i shouldn't even knew where to looking at... but thare was no bass?? i think bass in Baroque is very important...

Baroque is a PERFECT song, and perfection is perfection and will always be...
don't you see? perfect Mana intro, perfect Kami (one of the better drummers ever) drums, perfect two guitar coordination in two different tones, perfect Yu~ki bass to join guitars and in a perfect coordination with the drums beat, perfect Tetsu's singing (even if his voice is not "The voice" his style is perfect for a song like Baroque and it's a UNIQUE style that NOBODY has) and interpretation of the song, perfect lyrics of the song...fck off this is one of the goddamned better songs i've EVER listened in my whole life, and also, when you listen to Baroque (or other memoire songs) these songs doesn't sound like anything else in the world, that's the reason why i love that cd, cause it's unique in itself...

ok... i just ease myself now...sorry, but it just breaks my heart that someone could ever dislike this song...

As a unashamedly Tetsu fan, I hate the fact that Baroque is the ONLY song off Memoire that gets any coverage.

Listen to Memoire from De Memoire all the way through to Baroque!

You will learn from this enchanting experience that this clearly is Malice Mizer's best album. Its clearly the epitome of what the band were about. Anguish, sadness, madness, eccentricity!
Not Gackt gyrating his hips and Klaha "trying" to be sing operatic.... Bleh!


Also there are some beautiful melodies on Memoire. This album ALWAYS gets overlooked.

Personally I prefer Seraph over Baroque, and I prefer every other MM cd over Memoire (except perhaps Voyage sans retour, not sure about that one).

i definitively like Memoire most of the other cds, and i just think is very bad that Baroque is the only song covered, i found a Seraph version with Gackt and sucks, Kioku to Sora with Klaha, not comparison, and the Eege version of Gackt is very shamefull...if i'm in love with MM it's in a biggest part because of Memoire, in a world where everything sounds like the same, as i've said, Memoire is valium for my ears...and i miss that...

I love Klaha and Gackt's era too, but...Memoire is memoire and Tetsu's style is Tetsu's unique style, not only in Memoire, i love Speed of desperate, Sadness, Lafflesia, etc, all these songs are very AWESOME, and not to mention Tetsu's Ma cherie, that's way mch better that Klaha's or Gackt version...

Ok...off-topic, i respect everyone tastes but i need to make justice Memoire over the other cd's that may be most popular but the music doesn't has that same magic as it has...anyway...not all of us think the same, sadly <_<

If you're talking about the track off Merveilles, then thats a completely different track. Therefore, not bad.

well it's a different track but it's almost the same music, it doesn't changes too much...personally i love too much Memoire's Eege, the music it's perfect an Tetsu's lyrics and voice is great, so, having that precedent Gackt/Merveilles Eege has no comparison and it sounds very much poor...

I go to Mexico yearly, since both my parents are mexican, and last summer I found an anime magazine with a malice mizer inside scoop in it. Of course, I went in shock, since even in Puerto Rico ... which is basically aprt of the usa, u cant get malice mizer inside a magazine, but this one did! And it was mexican! And I looked at a past editin of the same magazine and it had a special of due le quartz, so yes, mexican vacation arent bad! <33
