Bara no Konrei is the MALICE MIZER adaptation of Dracula, yes? (I sooo saw some Interview with the Vampire in it as well.....but I'll leave that for today)
1. I kinda got that in the PV, in the wedding dress Mana was supose to represent Lucy. In the Dracula movie adaptations I've seen (haven't read the book yet) Lucy wears a while wedding dress, after all she is suppose to get married.
2. Alternatively he could just be playing bride but I'd rather think the first.
and question relating to the little girl
I want to go back the the Lucy imagery on this one. Dammit I haven't seen Dracula in ages. I think the little girl is pray for Mana/Lucy. I'm pretty sure at some point Lucy carrys a child in her arms that she plans to drink from.
Watch the movie "Bran Stoker's Dracula" with Winnona Ryder in it and you'll see the similarities.
In short the PV for Mayonaka ni Kawashita yakusoku is a shortened version of Dracula.
I could write a scene by scene report on Bara no Konrei comparing it to Interview with the Vampire & Dracula.

Are you talking about Bara no Konrei or Mayonaka?
Mana's character in Bara no Konrei is quite weird. I can expain it if you want.
If you were serious earl yoru I will write that up at the end of the month when I have time. I have a portfoloi to do right now.
I love vampires. My mum would always let me watch vampire movies with her when I was sick or when my dad was out at night. My 1st crush was on Brad Pitt as Louis from Interview with the Vampire and since then I've had this thing for vampires. :heartbeat:

I kinda expected him to be Mina Harker, to be honest.

Mana's character was wierd. He didn't seem to fit into the movie to well, What I got about him was
she (I believe he's acting a female character) was a nun who got accused of witchcraft during the medieval era in europe. Kozi, her lover/or just some hopeless romantic tryed to warn her, make her run but she continued to pray to god. As the penilty for this she was to be burned alive. It would appear that Kozi sold his soul to the devil to save her. However in doing this they became vampire somehow.
The woman continued as a nun hiding the the vampires under the church. She has to make arrangements and preperations for Count Dracula's coming to England. Kozi's love for her was never returned. As we see he often seems depressed, possibly over this.
If that clears up anything about mana's character at all but he still doesn't seem to fit into the story very well.
Okay now I believe the scene your talking about has people tied to crucifixes a woman all in white and mana drinks her blood? It does not fit into the story at all. It's just there. However...
This scene is a stage show. Vamapres pretending to be humans, pretending to be vampires. The victam is took out of the cell for her blood to be drunk. Now of cousre this is a stage show. So everything is more grotesque and overplayed here. After Kozi's little display after he drink from her, Mana let's the virgin blood flow into a goblet/glass nad drinks it for the audience before taking a bow.
This scene adds nothing to the movie or is rometely connected to the storyline at all. I just think the writer was an Armand fan.
I hope thats cleared up the mana cofusion. I may rewrite the post later it's late so my wording may be of.
