Ok, object of the game:

Post a timeline of yourself to show how you have changed.
Your cosplay can be Mana cosplay or any other sort of Moi dix Mois or Malice Mizer member.

Although Lolita is a fashion and not cosplay, you are also more than welcome to show how you have grown through time with your lolita fashion. I know not everyone here cosplays, so in order to get more people to participate I include lolita because that is also fun to look at.

Start with the oldest picture you have of yourself in cosplay and post pictures all the way up until now. :D

Its ok to laugh at older pictures because I think we all do it, but this isn't the place to sit there and tell anyone they looked awful in any one picture or put them down (obviously we all started somewhere and improved, right?).

This was my VERY first Mana cosplay ever. Not too many people know about it, but this was for my 16th birthday, but I was actually 15 here. It was at a VERY small anime convention and everyone was on an equally terrible level of cosplay. XDD


My very second Mana cosplay (after I had turned 16 I by then), done two months later. Look at the contrast!! This is when I realized "hey, maybe if I keep working at it, I can pull it off!" XD


Also the first time I ever met a jrocker. Its Shun of Duel Jewel. At the time, because I was a little noobie weeaboo Jrock fan I thought he was my best friend. XD Actually, to be honest, it was one of those experiences I'll never forget.


Third time to cosplay. Still 16 years old. Still progressing...


How lame was I? My friend had REALLY wanted to cosplay by that point and so my mom made both costumes for me and her. If she knew I posted this she would kill me. XD

Finally turned 17 by here. The last picture is RIDICULOUS!!!


I LOATH THIS PICTURE, but its the best quality of the bunch. God, this cosplay...WHY??


When I was 18. The cosplay really wasn't that good. I felt like I was starting to fall out of things at that time and so I didn't try very much. I'm a little saddened by that time that I didn't try harder and I was so discouraged.



But then I picked myself back up again.


I even got to hang around Teruki for two nights in a row. I looked like such a dork there. I was overly excited. XD


Finally I hit 19, and...


I realized a new love in my life...Nutter Butters . <33

My most current version and I will be able to add more to the time line in one week at A-kon!

I hope the next year or years to come bring even more improvement in the future. :D

This is an interesting idea for a topic. I haven't done any cosplay myself yet, but it's a good example of the phrase "practice makes perfect."

One of my friends kept making me laugh in that picture and its one of only two pictures I actually own of myself in that cosplay, and thats the better of the two. XDD

LOL An Cafe was wandering around the convention. On Friday night I was just walking around with some friends and didn't even notice them then they pointed and yelled "MANA-SAMA!!" at me. They wanted to talk to me but they didn't speak English and I was too shocked to say anything to them in Japanese other than "hajimemashite" and "An Cafe ga suki desu!". That night we all just stood around looking at each other for a REALLY long time like a bunch of idiots. XDD

Then that picture was taken Saturday. We happened to see Teruki wandering around looking really confused so we called him over to hang around us but then TONS of fans noticed him. Once they went away we talked to him for a little while and took pictures and he kept wanting to follow us until we told him we had to go. XDDD

But yeah, I now we all look like dorks there. I wouldn't post it if I didn't think it was stupid. ;)

I would have liked to meet An cafe XD I almost did. They had an autograph session here in Finland, but at the same day I went to Japan, so I had no time to go to get their autographs -___-
But it's okay. I bought their single for comfort from Japan. And I got to see Mana-sama, so it really doesn't matter at all XD They will come to Finland again because I heard that they promised :D

If I had met Teruki, I would have been very confused XD And you don't look idiots. I would have looked more idiot >8D

Well...If my cosplay happen to succeed, maybe I could post a picture... Then you will see very small Mana-sama XD I'm only 154,5 cm (I don't know what it is in inches..) But I will wear platforms 8D So I'm not that small then...

OK! Now i also want to cosplay Mana. And i will do a Mana-Sama from Manas not dead cosplay xD. On June or July maybe xD. I don't know. It will be my very first try, so i'm sure it won't be perfect. But i'll try. Dang, we have the second cosplayers meet in Lithuania on July xD. Well, i try to say myself that i'm quite good at extreme make up (i do it for various gothic parties for a few years). +i have the same hair as Mana, + the same body type as Mana, +if i do this cosplay i just have to paint my eyes, so it wouldn't be so hard xDDDDD. Hm... but i'm afraid that i will fail and i don't want to be a bad cosplayer even it will be my very first REAL try to cosplay that dark man xD
