Ok, i started this just because i've been always wondering about the relationship of Mana and Gackt in MM, and because i've read in several blogs and forums that mort of the fans says/thinks that Mana and Gackt were very good friends, I DON'T THINK THAT...i think that Mana-sama and Gackt are too much differents to be friends, Gackt has the hugest ego i've ever seen in my life and it's a very materialistic person, i think Mana it's kinda spiritual person and he doesn't care about money and trivial things too much (M+A problems are starting to broke my theory T_T ) so that's why it's just hard for me to believe they were goon friends, to tell the thruth i think they're relationship was not the closer in the band....


*to tell the truth i think Mana and Gackt didn't get each other and Gackt was all the time envious of Mana's great beauty and talent*

Discussing this is like dividing by zero.

The only people that know about Mana and Gackt's relationship are Mana and Gackt. End of story.
The rest is all rumors and speculation created by fans.

I think they are both very self-involved and selfish people that maybe had alot of differences that they put aside for MM, but in the end they wanted completely different things. I think Gackt (uhh) wanted to be a hearthrob sex icon whatever and Mana was stealing his spotlight (obviously) and if you look at they're solo work... neither one really sounds/looks much like MM. (Granted, Gackt may sound similar, but his hole image is completely different)

IT boils down to this: they porbalbly put up with each other for so long becase they knew they had a succesful thing that wouldn't last forever. I don't think they ever liked each othre much. I think they dealt with eachother. I don't think they are BFFs.

But that's just my opinion!

I kind of like this hypothesis. It makes sense. XD

But yeah, no one really knows except those who were in Gackt Era Malice Mizer. So we may never know the truth. XD

I don't know anything about their relationship except they are definitely not having buttsex with each other like the fangirls say

Well, I've already stated my opinion on this. NOBODY KNOWS, and it's nobody's beeswax or whatever anyway.

PuppetCircus is right, only Mana & Gackt knows the truth of their relationship, but Gackt has talked a little about it in his autobiography, and acord to his words, i made my own theory...

as a summary, in jihaku Gackt says he was interested to met Mana-sama because he was thinking about make music as a solo, but he thought it could be good first to prove being the vocalist in a band, so he had a friend who knew Mana-sama and the others MM and was told him about them, so he get interested to meet Mana, Gackt explain "Mana, the leader of Malice Mizer, which was then a hiatus", so he knew perfectly if he get into MM he coulg get very much famous quickly.

Gackt go to Tokio to meet Mana, and...

"The first time I saw Mana, I was drawn to him [note: I THINK this is what he is saying. Mana はかなり引いていた. Someone confirm/tell me the correct meaning?]. Tat just means they're very diferents, Gackt even say it forward, after that, they go to see Közi and neither Közi fitted with Gackt too much, Gackt says something like they didn't talk much because they are too much differents so have nothing to talk, until Közi breaks the silence asking to him:

"Is there anywhere in Tokyo where you'd like to go?"

and then things happened, but they still doesn't talk too much, Mana asked him which instrument he can play and he say he played all, and he play a keyboard and sing... and Gackt says he decided to get in because he thought they were funny persons and...

" I didn't dislike the gothic-like world that Mana wanted to create. "

...no words to that, he also mentioned he thought they weren't very much advanced musically...!!!!!!! :anger:

and to finish, he said:

"If I think about it now, the cause of Malice Mizer's breakup was my own individualism and self-confidence, and the widening difference between things that the other members were concerned about . "

Fangirls always make up weird rumors about them, and those rumors make their relationships to unreal and rediculus.

i care, not as a fangirl, i'm usually not that kind of fan, and i don't care it hey have some kind of...mmm...'sentimental' or 'buttsex' (disgusting to talk about this) relationship...

i care because i love too much Malice Mizer, and i wonder about the breaking up and i miss them, i think they were one of those legendary bands that will be always reminded in history as a GREAT band (with Gackt or not) because each member in there make the perfect combination to create very good music, it's just that, i really love the music of Malice Mizer, the mix of Mana, Közi, Yu~ki and Kami (R.I.P.), i like the MM with Gackt, it's funny i'm wondering about Gackt's era because it's my least favorite, but has something special in it that the others doesn't have (i don't mean the visuals, i mean the music and everything)...it's just different...

Maybe it's that Mana is a very much...mmm...misterious person, and i love to think too much, so i 'd really like to 'try to discover' a little bit of his real mind, (i'm a psychologist student and misterious minds really intrigues me too much), i know that no one except for the closest persons to Mana know his real mind, but, even for me, he's very interesting and i'd like to know about his mind as much as i could (not if he has buttsex with whoever).

And finally i just can't believe, accord to my own conclusions, that Gackt and Mana and the rest of the Malice Mizer members could ever work together with that succes, being, specially Gackt, that kind of different than the others...

jajajaja, it was just because i have an investigator soul and as a psychologist it's interesting for me human behavior, specially in groups, so i just mixed my personal pleasures with my studies, i didn't do that as a morbid person, i'm sorry if i can't explain myself very well...

It's normal human behavior to be nosy about something that's none of their buisness; especially with a person like Mana.

The fact that Mana is so mysterious, makes a lot of people want to try to figure him out. Sometimes, they'll believe anything they hear about him just to know more about him. That or they just make assumptions about him and say its true.
Thats usually how most rumors get started....

I honestly think they at least tolerated each other, I can't say they where friends....cause I don't know. not anything serious. If they where more serious well thats none of our business is it.
Somethings are better to be left as they are.
