Izumi is gonna be here in Montreal soon (in just 63 days now) and I though I should start a thread for people from the forums who are gonna meet so they can post pics and comments. You can be sure we're gonna take loads of pics and like we did when we met in Paris for the Mois dix Mois concert.

Wish we could have a real forums meet up some day.

That reminds me! Does anyone on here happen to have Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)? :blink: I recently rented it and I have a gamer pass so can I rent it for as long as I want to. I know it isn't a real-life meet up, but it's the next best thing! We could go fishing, go the the museum, just hang out. :3

Makes me not wanna go back to face the effects of my absence.

Also, I freak out when I see tarantulas or scorpions out at night on occasion when they are in season. Have to be fast to catch'em.

I loved the market day thing though! I would catch a shark (I would have several sharks for selling), and sell it for 75,000 bells, and then recover it from recycling when they toss it out days later, and then sell it again at the next market day. I did that with furniture and sea shells too. I loved ripping off the towns folk and getting filthier rich.

(My older brother had MONEY trees in his game and let me visit and go back and forth collecting free money; yeah, my house payments got paid fast and my house was fully upgraded in no time)

I'm going to Tennessee this summer to meet up with one of our old Mods, Adamine (I'm sure most of you don't remember her), but there will probably be a lot of Moitie/Mana-related pictures with that visit and possibly another stupid video like our last one. XD

how the hell do you figure out Wi-fi on your DS?

Well, I'm using their wi-fi usb connector on my computer, and when I went to the gate area in my town to get my number, it went to some wi-fi setting thingy and then I had to give my DS permission to connect on my computer with the usb connector's program. I think that was it. :(

I also have Pokemon Pearl, but I haven't tried going online on it yet.

@Esuna: I haven't played the Gamecube version in 4 months and finally went on again the other day and I had a lot of weeds. :lol: Don't let that stop you from playing again though! I'll pick up the weeds in your town if you want! :o

The possibility of meeting friends from this forum has motivated me to play it again.

However... it was a ROM on an SD card, and I deleted it from the card after saving a copy to the external hard drive so I could put it back on if I wanted. That hard drive is dead.

I do have some good news though. I kept copies of the save files of games I played previously on my computer so I didn't lose my save. :D

I just have to get the game again, delete the save that comes with it and replace it with my old one, and HOPEFULLY everything will be dandy.

I am SO glad I never moved the saves to the hard drive and deleted them afterwards to make space. Otherwise it would all be gone...

I have time on my hands, so I think I will do weeding and stuff to get my house nice again.... and squash the cockroaches too.

I intend to have my town of Parthos to a respectable condition before visitors come. Yes, the save file worked! I'm back in my Geisha outfit! :D

The fully upgraded house will have 5 rooms besides the one you wake up in when you load the game. Of course, the main room gets larger. So there is a large main room, and three rooms branch off of it on the first floor. The second floor is as big as one of the three branch rooms on the first floor, and the third floor is the room you load in. My main room looks like a museum. It's got pillars, two big tanks with sharks, these weird totem-robot things that play a note on occasion which gives the room a museum-esque atmosphere (the white collection that is), don't forget white tile. I have the entire regal furniture set in that room which is white with gold designs, on the table is an expensive looking vase. And of course...

The TRIFORCE and the MASTER SWORD :D

One of my first floor branch rooms is dark (no space for lamp) but is mostly music-themed. A phonograph plays a slow music from this music dog guy, there is a harp, a grand piano, a bird in a wooden cage... neat stuff.

Another branch room is more along lines of entertainment. I'd get a tv other than the robot one, but its the biggest tv (gotta love huge screens). I have a computer, and an armoire that can store stuff. And a dresser that can do the same. A bed (why not?), a couch... wood floor with a rug on it.

The last room on the first floor is all mushroom themed. Its even got Picman in a planter. Its the entire mushroom set, wallpaper and carpet too. Even a small mushroom tv.

The second floor has blue furniture and a blue rug, and has teddy bears.

And my clothes? Currently I am a Geisha, but I've also been a pirate and a samurai (top knot wig). I forget what else. I also forget how much money I have except whats in my pocket which is 15 grand. Compared to my bank account, its pocket change. I just sold a fraction of the sea shells on the beach and got 980 bells. If you wanna pay off Tom Nook, just pick up stuff from the beach and sell it to him. He'll buy anything. Except pitfall seeds, you don't get money from those.

Last night, I managed to squash all the cockroaches and pulled all the weeds. My flowers were indeed dead. All the purple pink, and yes, black roses, are gone. Some of the trees in my mini orchard are missing too. I am replanting them, but some tiles in the map are indeed infertile and I forgot which ones. Yes, some spots won't grow a tree no matter how good you take care of the sapling. The saplings from the fruits I planted are already wilting, so I have more planted next to them in case those tiles are infertile. I also looked through my clothes, and I found among my collection:
A bodice, a nurse's uniform, a noble shirt (aristocratic), pretty sure the samurai outfit is somewhere, and even funnier... A Sailor fuku. I can look like a school girl. :P

Esuna and I met on Animal Crossing last night! We had a lot of fun (although we couldn't see K.K. Slider in multiplayer -_- ); we fished, shopped, danced, saw Esuna's almost complete museum (I don't have too many things in mine.), looked at the stars, showed eachother our homes, and traded stuff. :3

My favorite part was when we tried to get eachother with the butterfly nets. :lol:

It was indeed loads of fun!

But you forgot to tell them about our MAD AXE CHASE!
Oh yes, I took out my golden axe and chased Ashley around town and hit her a few times; it was hilarious. What was more hilarious was when I missed her and hit one of my own apple trees. The apples fell off. Luckily, it takes 3 hits to chop a tree down, and not just one. So it lives, but it was left fruitless from the experience.

I also showed off some of my outfits. Especially my Sailor fuku, I made a wind and then screamed "kyaaaa, a perverted wind!" I couldn't help cracking up, it was so much like a manga.

Ashley got to take advantage of the Hair Salon, and got the old default style changed to something much nicer. I think I started out with the ugly tri-point style too; what were the programmer's thinking?!

One of my constellations appeared in her town: Castlevania
Which is a 4-candle candlebra. A castle required more stars than the game allows, not to mention that it would be a very lumpy castle.

I had changed some of my constellations earlier to get rid of the fillers; I only kept the Triforce.

But now I have:

DIX ~ It is literally DIX written in the sky with stars

Jeune Fille X ~ When "Mana" proved too complicated and required too many stars, I created an electric guitar and and named it Jeune Fille X like Mana's guitar.

AshleyAshford06 had the Nile dress which is all Egyptian-like, and I had the King Tut headdress which makes me trip more often when I run. (makes this weird low sound which makes me think it's cursed)

Ahh, we both wondered whether Mana had ever played this game... it would be so cool if he did. I would send him black roses if I knew his friend code and the roses grew. I have to start the flower breeding process over again to get black roses again. But I would totally send black roses...

The axe chase was hilarious. XD You were lucky that I didn't have an axe on me! :lol: Seriously, the tri-tails would've looked so much better if they had bangs. It shows way too much forehead.

When I was first given the Nile dress, I didn't think I would like it, but when I tried it on, it reminded me so much of Princess Serenity's dress so I kept it. :heartbeat:
