i really love each one of Malice Mizer live performances, and i was wondering about who was the director of them...i read in an interview in Klaha's era something about Mana-sama :mana: matched them, well, not exactly, but the interviewer asked them if they write a journal or something, and Mana :mana: says that he had something to sketch every idea about their performance whenever their comes to his head...

i really wanna know if he sketched their lives...that will makes me love him still more than i do...i just think if he do everything by himself...oh!! that will be so great!!!

i think Mana is totally able of doing everything by himself, but i think Közi, Yu-ki, Kami, Gackt, Klaha and Tetsu are very much talented too, so i don't wanna take off their credits if they sketched MM performances too, or whoever has done it...

To my understanding, Mana carried around a sketch pad and would draw out everything for the live performances, including the choreography. When I first got into Malice Mizer I had also read that Mana was very particular about the look of the live performances so often times he would make sure everything was absolutely perfect in his view. Honestly, I've never heard of any of the members doing much of anything outside of composing music and lyrics, but it would be interesting to know if any of them partook in the finished product of the live performances. It would definitely be an interesting topic t research more!

yes i think you're right, even in MM interviews Mana sama talks the most (except on tv, jijijiji) in every interview i've read, Mana answer the 85% of the questions, except these interviews when they ask each question to each member, that's why it's obvious that Mana was the principal head/genius creative in Malice Mizer, and i don't know if you notice, but if you watch closely Mana-sama expressions in their live performances, his face is like...

:mana: ...'OMG!! we sound so fucking well!! ;)' or ...'OMG!! we're as good as hell!!! :o '...

the same thing happen in Moi dix Mois lives. i really love to see this expresion of self-satisfaction in his face!!! the first time i noticed it was in a Shiroi performance and i cried!!!!! :love: T_T because i was thinking they sound so good and then i see these Mana expression and i feel this empathy that only Mana-sama can make us feel!!!

and about Kouji-sama and Yuki-sama (and Kami-sama RIP T_T ) i think they choice they're outfits in a way, maybe Mana design them based on the way they wanted them or maybe not, i don't know it, i supposed it because of they always (or even most of the times) appeared wearing outfits according their personalities...Közi as a beautifull grotesque clown always over-dressed, Kami, i know he admired very much navy japanese history so sometimes he appears dressed as a captain, and yuki loves vampires...
