LET'S HAVE A DEMOTION BOX! A spot where we can bring down other bands and write about what we hate! We could use it to vent out anger (or create it). That would be fun, don't you think? :lol:

Not a good idea. That would cause a lot of drama seeing as not everyone has the same taste in music. There are people out there who hate Moi dix Mois, and you know, some people are jerks and will go on forums just to sit there and try to stir up that kind of non-sense. No need in provoking it more or doing the same for other bands for that matter. We are here to bring up artists and musicians, not shoot them down. Besides, the promotion thread isn't particularly just for band promotion, its for promotion of anything else such as websites, information, products, things people like or might be interested in getting to know, etc.

I have to agree with the others on the point of demoting other bands and stuff. We wouldn't want fights in here, plus, we'd only be like that Dir en Grey fanboy/girl (with the Manson avatar) who came here a while ago if we do something like that. Now I have nothing against Diru at all, but that person was kinda, yeah, uhm, no, I won't go into that any further, or I'm bringing down my own argument... ^_^

A place to vent out anger would be an interesting idea though. Like, when something happened that made you feel angry you can shout it out there (within the rules of the forum of course), which could feel very relieving. It'd be like a verbal punching bag or something. :lol: A single thread in the General Discussion forum would probably serve that purpose well, should it be realized.

I would have to say I think the General Discussion area seems to have already turned into a venting forum. XD
