Have you noticed the new "DIX" icons under your user icons?

I hope everyone enjoys them!

I decided to make it sort of an initiative for users to post more so the forums will have a little bit of diversity of users. Not that it will make EVERYONE want to be more active, I just thought it was something fun to try.(^^)v

This is how it works:

You're supposed to make the word "dix" as many of you can already see.

New users gain a "d" at 25 posts and are labeled as "dix sight"
I chose "dix sight" because its part of the lyrics in "Immortal Madness". As weird as I am I made it to kinda connect with the forums. New users are the ones using their "sights" more than posting at first because they want to see what we're all about and read our threads before they start posting. It brings them into the sight of dix, Mana's world. (Sorry my explanations are really cheesy, but I was having fun with this. XD)

once you have made 75 posts or more, you gain an "i", making "di" You need one more to go!!
The name for those who earn an "i" are dix-ists. Mana defines a dix-ist as a Moi dix Mois fan outside of Mon+Amour. Now on these forums, I can't make a Monarist and Dix-ist counter, so we'll all have to suffice as dix-ists, seeing as Mon+Amour members are also disters because they too are Moi dix Mois fans! However, Mana seems to imply that a dix-ist may not have the full knowledge of a Monarist, thus your knowledge might be a little bit limited of his world. At the point of 75 posts, I'd consider it a limited amount, but it shows that you're at least posting, thus you're into Mana's world by now! (nobody said this was accurate about anyone, like I said, I'm just having a bit of fun here)

Finally, I felt like in order to gain the final letter to dix, the "x" you needed to be a little bit more dedicated and post more to show your DIX LOVE.
At 200 posts you gain an "x" completing your very own "dix". Also at 200 posts, you're really showing your dix love, so at this point you have gained the title of "DIX LOVE", the word which Mana encourages to be chanted during the encore of Moi dix Mois lives, also one of the many important themes of Moi dix Mois now.

Anyway thats the "dix Initiative" as I like to call it. I hope everyone who hasn't gotten to "dix" yet does their best to show their ultimate dix love!!

I've seen a lot of other forums do little initiatives kinda like this (not the same one of course) and it seems like it works quite well. I haven't really see anyone spam.(^^)v Besides, theres probably more spam here than there is on those other forums anyway. XD

Personally I've been VERY busy at uni for the last week and a half.
It will, hopefully, slow down in a little month or so, but until then I'll probably be very busy.
Anyone who's ever made a compiler knows what I'm going through. And I'm only at the first phase, making a parser+weeder. It's "just" massaging a CFG and getting a sensible AST out of it. >_<

Yeah. You should get a MSN account. But you don't need Messenger. You can use Pidgin or Amsn. That's what I use.
