Title: I found something that no one noticed...
Description: The one topic which every forum has...

sylvanon - August 21, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
Now, I know this topic has probably been done to DEATH by all the other forums, but I have found what they haven't! (Actually, anybody who's read Hayato's 2005.09 entry on his diary probably has too.) The question which a lot of people have been asking since Seth joined M10M: Is it possible he might be SEIJI from Amadeus and Brain Hacker?

http://www.shakinghands.co.jp/tonkotsu-juice/diary.html

click on the 2005.09 entry, scroll down and tell me that isn't the same tattoo that Seiji has Here (he's the one in black):

Not to mention they sound the same, have the same piercings and move on stage in the same way...

On a COMPLETELY unrelated topic, is it me or does Sugiya look fugly in the picture on Hayato's diary??

Manic Macabre - August 22, 2007 06:53 PM (GMT)
To answer your question, Seiji and Seth are indeed the same person. :)

Violet Rose - August 22, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
it does look like him. im convinced.

sylvanon - August 22, 2007 10:03 PM (GMT)
AHA! I knew it! :P Now all we need is for someone to caption a pic of Seth with something like 'Calling all Seiji fans: We found him!' ... Yeah, I need more sleep...
@Manic Macabre: Would you like a site where you can find more info/pictures?

Dark Chaos - August 23, 2007 02:41 PM (GMT)
Why do you people care so much bout there past :P i mean its not like it effects what there doing now right? And its cool, now we know Seth was in another band.Yay.He had a life before Moi Dix Mois

sylvanon - August 23, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
You're right, it doesn't affect what they're doing now. :) But it is interesting to find out where they came from before joining *insert name here*. And besides, a lot of people on jrock forums ponder the answer to that question, so I thought I'd ask and see if anyone knew FOR SURE.
And yes, now we know he had a life BEFORE Mana and the others. I just wonder what his reaction to meeting K in full costume was...

Dark Chaos - August 23, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
lol depends on how much he was prepared for.

Well (from what I've heard) he already knew Mana-sama, but I don't think he had much to do with the other members before he joined. And K in full makeup and costume is kinda freaky/scary (to me), so... I can just imagine some expression along the lines of 'sweet mother of God, what on earth is that?!' (a good example would be a pic I've found, but it is REALLY not relevant to this forum. However, go to photobucket and type in sylvanon, and it'll give a link to my album. I'll put it under 'hideWTF') If he only saw him with makeup and costume first.
Idunno. What do you think?

Dark Chaos - August 24, 2007 03:14 PM (GMT)
Well, Seth probly did that in his head lol i don't think people would do that outloud or well it just be rude. But like i said if he was friends with mana, than maybe mana told him somethings and not enough.Than when he saw K for the first time he may or may not have done what you said :P

sylvanon - August 24, 2007 07:03 PM (GMT)
this is the picture I was thinking of: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd219/s...backstage04.jpg
I think that would be my expression anyway, not so sure about Seth's. he might be wondering what he got himself into...
(reference to the Caption this humour thread) maybe he got lured in by the wombat offer? *shot*

Dark Chaos - August 24, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
lol maybe :P

Why do you people care so much bout there past :P

i think it would matter a lot to someone who is a seiji fan... thinking he dropped out of the music scene and then he has "possibly" returned under a different name but nothing has been confirmed... i think they would like to know for sure D:

plus, i always find it interesting to find things out about people's previous bands... and how their musical careers have changed over time.

*waves hands* oh oh OH I'm a Seiji fan!!! :P my fingers are crossed for when the day mana screws up in an interview and admits Seth is Seiji XD and plus, there have been people saying that they saw a greenish/blueish swirly thing near Seth's right (or left?) arm. We don't know FOR SURE if Seth is Seiji, but theres a whole lot of people saying they saw something on Seth's arm. And being the Seiji fan I am, I would be extremely happy if the dix'd-out-poofy-haired-big-headed-Dix-patch-wearing-snake-dancing-shorty WAS Seiji.

and I think it's silly that Seiji would have to change his name for a band like Moi dix Mois. I mean, It's SEIJI. I'ts pretty 'dix' enough XD

I bet Mana is reading this forum and going:

MUAHAHA YES!! drown my evil dix minions!! DROWN IN A POOL OF MY AWESOME MYSTERIOUS-NESS

and if SETH was reading this forum:

lyk3 OMG!! How did they know?! >.>

ManaVampire - August 25, 2007 08:53 PM (GMT)
The person in both of those pictures looks remarkably just like Seiji...
However, Hayato is in a number of bands outside of Moi dix Mois. I'm thinking that journal entry is about one of his other side bands and not Moi dix Mois.
If someone can correct me otherwise, please let me know.

I noticed at the Moi dix Mois concert at Shibuya O-East that yes, Seth does have a tatoo on his left arm, but it was smaller and darker.(^^)v

Also, heres Seiji's website with more current happenings:

http://www.bat-mark.com/

He currently has his own mini store selling accessories.
For some reason, I can't imagine little things like that that are currently happening being kept secret from Moi dix Mois fans. Seems a little fishy to me.

sylvanon - August 30, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
Ah, overlooked that possibility. sorry bout that Sarah-sama. :ph43r: But it would still be nice if it was (is?) true!
... I still think they're the same person...

AutumnRaven - August 31, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
Do you guys think K is Kazune of the same band Seiji is in? (brainhacker)

http://homepage2.nifty.com/brainhacker/brainhacker.html

sylvanon - August 31, 2007 07:16 AM (GMT)
No, K was in a band before M10M, but it wasn't Brain Hacker. I would tell you, but I can't remember for the life of me which one it was. <_< :(

ManaVampire - August 31, 2007 07:40 PM (GMT)
K was in Ru~ne and GRAND ZERO before Moi dix Mois.

He also went by the name Ken (建) before Moi dix Mois. ;D

Zabeion - February 12, 2008 03:39 AM (GMT)
Asking why did Seth change hes name from Seiji to Seth?

Maddy-chan - February 12, 2008 05:29 AM (GMT)
Becauuuuseee... ha thought it was Cool?
XOXOXO and seth is easyer to pronounciate tham seiji... Well atleast to me.

PhoenixFlower - February 12, 2008 10:20 AM (GMT)
well for foriegners it's easier to pronounce, but for japanese it's much harder. Seiji, pronounced Say-jee, is a fairly common japanese man's name. There is actually a pretty famous orchestra conductor by the name of Seiji. He probably changed it for the annonymity, at least that's my opinion. It may have been his idea, or who knows it could have been Mana's. Maybe to keep his band from being compared to any others. Then again japanese rock musicians seem to have this thing for changing their "names" when they change bands... who knows it could be anyone of those...

Moved the new Seth/Seiji thread here since there was already a thread on this topic.
