I loved Kozi in Malice Mizer.
He was like my favorite member for such a long time.
Now it is so Mana, when i got to know mana more.
They are both so beautiful and Kozi is so amazing.
I loved him, what about you?
Who is your favorite Malice Mizer Member?

Mana is my favorite, obviousely but I'd say next comes Kozi as well. Theres just something about Kozi, I've always kinda found him unique in his own way. You can even tell that in his solo works now too, he just seems to have an interesting style to him in fashion and music that just shows off his personality really well.

Mana of course! Next would have to be Klaha. I really haven't been fair to Kozi and Yuki since I prefer the visual style of Mana and Klaha over theirs. I need to give them a chance..

Mana or Yu~ki in first place for me.

Mana cause...he rocks.

Yu~ki because he's one of my idols on bass.

Yu~ki, like Sic said, because he is a wonderful bassist and one of my idols. I try to learn to play my bass better by listening to and watching his performance. He shows so much skill, you can hear it in the music and see it in the performances. From what I've seen and read, he has a nice personality alongside his musical talent. Not to mention that he may have written only two songs, but they are both excellent; Syunikiss musically, and Memento lyrically. I tend to follow the band members with a fairly small fanbase also. I miss seeing him very much in the band, I'm really hoping he'll return.

Afterward, most definitely Kami. He was so unique and talented. As well as a great loss to the world in the case of his death. I admire him greatly as well as respect him.

I love Mana for his gothic style. He finds wonderful ways to inject beauty and elegance into everyday life, as well as his musical and fashion careers.

I can't forget the other band members. Kozi is really amusing for his craziness. Once again, very unique and random. His little quirks are wonderful. I really enjoy Klaha for his voice. And he seems to have a warm personality, very down to earth.

But Yu~ki and Kami top my list.

And I'm sorry, but I really don't like Gackt. Only his music, and even then, only some. He doesn't strike me as a man with much of a likeable personality.

Yu~ki really is a WONDERFUL bassist. Every time I watch a Malice Mizer concert, I get really excited when Yu~ki comes out with a bass solo, they never cease to amase me. *-* After a while, when listening to Malice Mizer music, I start picking the instruments apart and focusing on them individually and I always have a tendancy to either go to Mana or Yu~ki first just because his parts always really strike me as one of the more interesting parts.

Well, after Mana of course, I'd have to say my favorite would be Klaha. He's just... cool. His solo stuff is pretty good too, and I prefer his voice over Gackt's.

I concur. Not that Gackt didn't have a nice voice or anything but I really liked Malice Mizer THE MOST for Mana. Of course I loved their music and most of the other members a lot too, but I think after Gackt left it was mostly Mana's style showing through which Klaha did an excellent job of showing through exactly Mana's choise perspective of voice style and range.

I agree^^..I loved gackt in Malice Mizer, but it just wasn't my type of music. I thought a few songs were great; however, the majority weren't to my liking. Merveilles was the first Japanese album I ordered. I enjoyed it, but I was often skipping past most of the songs. After I found out about Moi dix Mois I payed no attention to Malice Mizer and practically forgot about them. For some reason I ventured back to Malice Mizer and heard some of their songs with Klaha..I was interested in Malice Mizer again^0^!

I like Gackt best (After Mana of course. Mana's my favorite, now and forever.) I think that the bands best time was when Gackt was in the band. He adds a certan sexyness that I like. And after he quit the songs lacks that a bit. Even though Klaha is really good too....

My favourite member, Mana. Like Klaha too, but Mana Rules.

Within the band, it's impossible for me to have a favourite member.

If that sounds stupid, can I explain? ... Each member is part of the band, and I love the whole band, with each member making their own particular contribution, and with their different skills. For this reason, I find it impossible to have a favourite in any band (not just Malice Mizer). Because if any of the members are changed, the balance changes, and the band becomes a different kind of entity (as seen, for example in MM's three phases with different vocalists). And for each line-up, that special combination of people is right for that time, and produces its own unique music. ^^ I mean, a music that couldn't have existed any other way, with any other group of people.

And then, Malice Mizer changed and dissolved, and the members now do different things... From their various solo works, I like Közi's the best, because I find it to be most diverse and original. ^^

Haven't heard or seen much of them yet, so I'm not really sure yet.

Probably I'd have to go with Kami. I love the drumming in what I've heard so far.

Mana and Gackt are the ones that strikes me more! they're personalities are just incredible and they are really genious. I do really prefer Gackt's voice than the other vocalists of Malice Mizer, though Klaha never proved much of his voice, because the releases with Klaha are very easy to sing.

I find Klaha's voice to be quite good, but thats just me. Gackt was a great addition to M+M, until he left. and Mana is still teh awesome. Mana-sama pwns!

Mana+Yu~Ki+Kami+Klaha+Kozi. XD, I really can't decide. There... all... so... cool. :D

My favourite band memeber (before Mana, of course), is Kami †RIP†…
I like him because, believe it or not…We are almost the same…I have the same figure as him (Well, a more feminine figure), my hair has the same colour and almost the same lenght (My hair is longer) and we both adore…Butterflyes… :lol:

I must say that Mana will always be my numbah one, but I think Kozi is pretty cool too. the music he composed in Malice Mizer was really cool and unlike anything I've ever heard. he's so eccentric and I love him for that. Gackt was pretty cool too. his vocals were exellent, some of the best vocals I've ever heard actually. Klaha is also one of my favs. his vocals are beautiful and match their gothic-themed music as well. and I like his gothic aristocratic gentleman look too. it was teh awesomeness. :D

My most favorite is Mana!!!!1 :lol: Just saying his name makes me ubber happy.

My least favorite is Gackt, and do you know why?

It's because Gackt did not attend Kami's funeral........I would go the funeral of my band's drummer if he died but my band uses a drum computer so i don't know how that would work out.

Well...it's very easy the reason why Gackt didn't go to Kami funeral...he didn't know he was dead, he only heard about it in the newspapers after the funeral, so be mad with the ones that could have worned him but didn't.

My favorite members would have to be Mana and Gackt. I just love both of them. Mana's style was and still is great! Gackt's voice was also very wonderful. I think that they both made a good mix. That's just my opinion of course. I also adore Kami. May his soul rest in peace.

Ok... I i had to narrow it down, after Mana it would be Kozi. He's a legend.
He's the other side of the Malice Mizer brain.
While Mana set the mood and emotion in the music, Kozi would set the obscurity and wonderment.
I hope one day Mana will swallow that huge pride of his (for he can be a stubborn little boy!!) and work with Kozi again (i figure they have differences, for Mana doesn't answer Kozi related questions... but i dont really know...)

but yeah Kozi rocks.

Mana is my idol and he has influenced me a lot. However, I love all Malice Mizer members pretty much the same except Gackt but that is cause he reminds me of my mother too much. RIP Kami you are the true butterfly of the sky

Um, yeah, I think Mana is the reason why MM hasn't re-grouped yet. ^^;; I mean, I know he's really enjoying his solo project, but I'd love it so much if Malice Mizer came back. :lol:

Oh, it is awesome! I'm sure you'd love it! I'm not sure how to describe it though....it's kinda wierd, but in a good way. It kinda reminds me of industrial music, but in a way it's not. You'd have to find out for yourself, cuz I just cant do it justice.

Hmmm... sounds interesting. I'll go look him up today. Who knows? Maybe Kozi will gain a new fan! XD

I just checked some of Kozi's songs and they were great! Haha! New fan. I was right. ^_^
