Hey, you didn't have to sound so cold. :( I'm predicting they might rejoin sometime between 2008 - 2009, but I'm probably wrong. I remember Sarah saying that Mana said how he'll always cherish his memories with MM, which sounds like he doesn't want (or isn't ready) to re-unite, plus, he's happy with M10M at the moment, so the situation doesn't look so good. :(

I would totally love to hear how the others (Klaha, Yu~ki, and Kozi) are doing (I heard how Klaha is supposed to go back to music this year, but that's all. :( ).

Malice Mizer was a unique band, my favourite band to be precise. They changed my life and I love them dearly.

But we have to face facts, all the Malice Mizer members have moved on, the band will never rejoin.

Just because Take That are doing it doesn't mean everyone will.

I still hope Mana and Kozi will do something together again, though.

I heard they don't talk anymore so it's unlikely.

I don't generally like to bring my own accusations in on these things...because I'm one of those people that really hates it when people take an idea from someone and turn it into a rumor or what have you...but quite honestly, I firmly believe Mana doesn't really talk to people once they've parted.

By that I mean, old MALICE MIZER members and ex Moi di Mois members. Hes the type of person who just tends to go on with his life after something is done. He cherishes what he had and likes to look back upon his memories of what used to be, but hes more focused on whats going on now and in the future. I highly doubt he has spoken a word to any of the past Malice Mizer members in several years now and I'm sure he hasnt' spoken to the past Moi dix Mois members since they left the band. Its unfortunate that he does just kinda leave his old friends, but I can totally understand where hes coming from.

It would be interesting to see MM back again, I'll admit...but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. It would be like this whole X Japan returning thing. A quote my friend said about that was "Let sleeping dogs lie"

Well said Sarah. I don't think it's likely they will ever rejoin either. Mana and Kozi both have different views on music (Mana prefering a symphonic/death metal sound, Kozi prefering an industrial rock sound, Gackt prefering pop-ish rock) so it may not work out. Mana is busy with other things and is doing well in MdM, and as for the other members, they're either busy with other things or have gone into obscurity, like most artists after their bands break up.

What reason do they have to not play again? If Yu~ki is willing to write lyrics for Kozi I'm sure he would probably accept at least another get-together. Black Sabbath has had reunion concerts before, so why wouldn't they? It was stated that the hiatus was indefinite, and i also heard somewhere that Mana said that Malice Mizer isn't over. I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm saying that it's always possible, unless someone dies again (with no disrespect to Kami).

I agree with the rest. It wouldn't be the same band. Even when they would back what kind of music would it be? Same as earlier? Without Kami, with members who changed his music style etc. I think they should stay in minds of fans who really loved them. And still love. I don't think Mana would like to work again in project like this. For me it's a beautiful past and yes, let sleeping dogs lie.

The whole "Malice Mizer reunion" started off with one person expression what they thought about a future reunion. Another person said they didn't think it would happen. This just so happens to be a conflict of reguards to the future. NOBODY has any official say in what will or will not happen, and should respect each others feelings/oppinions/what have you.

Let me point out that NOBODY was name calling anyone in the first place until people got offended over other people's views on the subject. Things just got a little heated and it turned into a debate on how each personal feels individually on the subject. There is NOTHING wrong with debate, however, if we're going to sit there and put labels on each other due to some pointless descrimatory reason, I do have the power to put my authority forth and take actions that are necessary.

I am not being mean, nor am I siding with anyone. I am telling you that if you can not handle a debate over one person's thoughts over another, then you either need to just leave the thread or just leave the forums. If it really is that offensive to so many people, then tell me and I'll just close the thread. However, I will not tolerate such childishness as to sit there and descriminate against another member of the forums. You really have no valid reason to do so.

If you cannot respect what another thinks or feels about a particular subject, then please leave it as it is, unless someone is seriously descriminating another person, such as what has gone on here.

Okay, back on topic if nobody minds, but a band can play together and not reform, for example.......THE ROCK HONORS, bands that have not played for several years (sometimes several dozen years) will have a one time show for the show.

Would anybody have a problem with that if say, somebody important called Mana, Yu-Ki, Kozi, and Klaha for and award show and where asked to play Best of Blood.

I see nothing wrong with that possibility.


And as far as the whole Danny issue, i just remember that i was at one point almost in the same boat with the "i hate Gackt issue thing."

As a fan of their work and hopeful of their talent and creativity to pull off another Merveilles I would say yes. They are getting older and as we get older we tend to get uglier, so if they're gonna do something soon they better do it sooner.

I do not believe Kami's death to have ever been any sort of hinder even the late 90's when he bit the dust - Bara No Seidou (sp?) was a fantastic piece of keyboard driven industrial metal and proved that they could make a decent album under pressure and under tragic circumstances.

Here's hoping, but it's not a big deal if it doesn't happen; I'm more than satisfied with the work they've given us over almost 20 years.

Daniel_Valentine just wanted me to send out an appology from him to everyone he upset and all those who had to view all the chaos.

He feels pretty bad about all this, and didn't think things would get as out of hand as they did. He came to me personally on AIM to ask me to let you all know hes very sorry for everything that happened and feels bad about it. Hes actually quite hurt about the way everything got out of hand. ):

They're both bands that have split up (or in indefinite hiatus or whatever you'd call it). That's what they have in common. Now that's also a fact.
