ManaVampire - November 5, 2005 08:47 PM (GMT)
If you haven't checked it out yet, Moi-meme-Moitie has updated with some new merchandise recently along with limited edition online preorder only items for Christmas. Sadly, some of it is already sold out. None the less, if you're interested check out these links with the new merchandise:

They are very beautiful.
I will see if i can get my hands on some.

ManaVampire - November 18, 2005 12:41 AM (GMT)
if you're able to, you're very lucky! :o I'd love to but everything is so much in USD. I do actually think my mom is thinking of buying me something from Moitie for christmas though. She was asking to see a purse I wanted from there the other day. :D

Back on topic, I had to say my favorite item of the new stuff has to be that dress. Its a shame its already sold out. :\

I wasn't thinking about getting anything from there but now I want to! Maybe I can find something that isn't too expensive.

Has Moi-Même-Moitié any plans of open a store in Europe?
I've heard rumors they've opened one in Paris, but never seen any more to that. Is it true?

ManaVampire - December 5, 2005 11:02 PM (GMT)
Its an idea floating around in Mana's head. He has said in interviews that he would love to open a Moi-meme-Moitie in Europe, but he still has yet to find a place to open it up at.

xXFullmoonXx - December 11, 2005 04:58 PM (GMT)
and its still all way too expensive for me to buy... :(

ManaVampire - December 11, 2005 05:57 PM (GMT)
most of it is too expensive for me too. T_T my mom will only let me buy either accessories or stuff from the Cut and Sew section because thats all fairly cheap (for Moitie at least). I would die for a full EGL outfit but I know that will never happen anytime soon lol.

--EDIT--

haha, I actually do have a full outfit now. XD; wow, how long ago did I post that one??

Elegant-Lolita - November 17, 2006 05:43 AM (GMT)
I definetly want EGL clothes for christmas... *sigh*
I'll put that on my list!
Its exspensive yeah, but those clothes are so beautiful they shouldn't be worth less. Course cheaper prices mean its better for us, lol
Lets hope we all get something there for Christmas!!!

ManaVampire - November 18, 2006 04:22 AM (GMT)
I dont know...I might ask for another dress..or maybe this time something more aristocratic. I already have the Iron Gate dress and theres nothing that has REALLY captured my eye lately. I have a lot of things on my christmas list this year, so I guess we'll see. XD; I could always just wait until I move to Japan this summer...hmm...

Elegant-Lolita - November 19, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
Japan ^^//

Me, lately I've just also been buying material's & certain clothing & putting together my own thing. It works temporarily, lol

ManaVampire - November 20, 2006 03:02 AM (GMT)
Well actually, to be honest, most gothic lolita's do make their own clothes rather than buy them. I don't now, I heard this from a girl in Japan...she said sure they buy stuff, but a lot of them just make their own clothes. Still, its kool to buy from brand name shops!

Elegant-Lolita - November 22, 2006 03:16 AM (GMT)
True. Either way is good. Creating & designing them yourself is nice. ^^ Thats what Im doing for my prom dress. Urrg, prom (-__-);;
BUT, the upside? I get to do the designs & everything for the dress & my grandma creates it. ^^ She does this professionally, so Im not just using her, lol. But it should be fun. I want it to be a Gothic Lolita type dress of course. But I actually need to get designing.

For me money isn't an issue, I'd happily save up for YEARS just to buy one item.

I'd be worried about not fitting into the clothes!
I'm juuuuuuuust a few centimetres too big, the only thing I could easily fit into is one of the men's shirts.

ManaVampire - November 23, 2006 04:32 AM (GMT)
Moitie clothes are almost all polyester, so if you're a few cm too big it shouldn't be a problem. I think I'm about 2 cms too big for Moitie dresses but they still fit me perfectly as they would a smaller person. Everything I own (and just about everything in the store for that matter) gives a little bit of room for stretch so in the end, everything pretty much works out nicely.(^^)

My faith in mankind has been restored.
