I thought this might be some interesting information to those of you who don't know about it already.

As I had mentioned breifly before, Mana had his Moi-meme-Moitie 6th Anniversary event not too long ago and those who spent 20,000 yen or more were able to get a ticket to Mana's second event at the Christon Cafe in Tokyo. This cafe is huge decorated in all sorts of elegance and gothic type things along with art work and sculptures, or so it seems from the pitures on the website:

Anyway, at the event he will be escorting each lucky fan who got a ticket one at a time (arm in arm with Mana) through the cafe and present to each of them a blue rose as a gift.

This little event of Mana's seems to be a yearly thing and last year he felt some of the guys feel a little awkward by walking arm in arm with them so now they get the choise of either him escorting them (like last year) or just shaking his hand.

Right now all tickets are sold out. That just goes to show how many people still do appreciate Mana-sama! I really wish I could go to this event one day. (^^)

Also, as a small Moi dix Mois update. The music is getting ready to be recorded. As promised there will be a new sound being produced by Mana along with his old sounds of classical and metal combined. Great things should be expected soon!! <3

you're telling me, I got a chance actually read someone's experience on it too in live journal. She told Mana he was sexy and he litterally gave her the "O_O" look. XD

Does this happen on a specific date every year? Where and when will it be annonesed when it is? (Sorry the 'space' button isn't working due to drinking cola while sitting at the pc)

Its a fairly new "yearly" event for Mana. This one was his second or third (sorry, i can't remember exactly at the moment). For the past two years now, they've been holding it in the fall and they usually announce it about a month in advanced when they're going to have it, to my knowledge, at least.

Where do they anouse it? (lookie, I got a new tastature)

anou...I know I heard about it from Mana's website and the Moi dix Mois website...I'm sure there are other places as well (such as the Gothic and Lolita bibles)

You think Mon Amour will have it on their pages?

Of course, Mon+Amour has all the information fans that aren't in the fanclub get plus much more. As of right now though, they haven't set the date for his next randezvous. However, when the time does come around next year I will be sure to post it.

Wish I could get enough money to go to Japan the next time, so I might have a chance to meet him. *Sight* At least I can hear about it, 'cause I'm joining Mon Amour in about a week or two. (As soon as I get my money)

lol no, I wish. Tickets to Japan are very expensive and I'm trying to find a way to go to Japan in the summer of 2007 after graduation with my friends. :\ Sadly, I'm not allowed to just go to Japan like some people. I wish I was lol.

I want to go to Japan for grad this year, but I could never afford it and my parents are seemingly trying to stop my love for Jrock out of me T__T

Maybe I'll go in a few years though, my friends tell me I should go there and teach english...hmmn...maybe I should.

I want to go over there for graduation as well...but I don't graduate until 2007..

*nods* Teaching English to the Japanese is probably the easiest way to find a living and work over in Japan. I want to go to college to become a translator for the Japanese (and TRY to get a job at Midi: Nette as a translator) but I'm thinking of starting out as just an English teacher as well for a little while until I feel like I'm ready to go out and do what I want.

*cough* anyway, back on topic XD It definately would be something to go meet Mana in person in that way then maybe ask him for a hug or something. (^^)

20,000 yen is a very low price for the opportunity to meet Mana. Does anyone know how far apart the 2 events were time wise?

I would go. It's a 14 hour flight from Dallas. I wouldn't want to go alone though...it would be better if someone came with me.

Does anyone have any pictures from the event? I saw the pics of the goth cafe...it looks amazing.

uhm..The first event was in Tokyo (autographs) and the randezvous was in Nagoya which is a few hours away from Tokyo.

Was the second event the same day as the first or were they weeks apart?

They were a week apart.

I bet it must be really hard to be one of the first 200 people. People probly camp out overnight waiting for the event to begin.

The reason I want to go and be one of the first 200 is because I want the chance to give Mana my contact info and a cd sampler of songs i've played drums on. I know my chance is slim to none. But I have talent, and a lot of experience, and of course the intense desire to be in a band with Mana.

If anyone else in these forums studied and learned Moi dix Mois' drum tracks as I have I'm sure you would want to try as well.

(sigh.....) I really wish i could join Mon Amour so i
could find out about stuff like this. sadly, my dad would never pay the fee.....

Yeah, not only that, but talking to other fans that have gone through with it..they all tell him the same things over and over again, like "Oh Mana, you're so wonderful and great! I love your music and I love you and your clothes! You're amazing!"

I kinda wouldn't want to be like the rest...I mean he hears that all day, and I'm sure thats nice and all (I mean of course I think hes amazing too) but...eh.
