Hey, would it be an idea if the lyrics for Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois songs and their translations could be included here on the forum? Finding the lyrics hasn't been too hard for me, but I've so much trouble finding translations apart from some in Spanish (I think), which I hardly speak. So maybe a database of sorts containing them in the respective band subforums would be nice? What do you think?

Sure, thats a great idea! Only thing is, we have to do it without stealing from other websites and such, because people have given me lyrics and translations that I didn't know were from other people's websites and then I got in a lot of trouble. So if we did that and you want to take lyrics or translations from somewhere else (meaning something you didn't translate yourself) get permission from the original source first. (^^)v As long as we can do it like that, I'd be more than happy to start a subforum for lyrics and translations.

actually that sounds like a good idea too! I'd like to find some lyrics from MM and MdM too! but right now I'd really like to find the lyrics for Color Me Blood Red. its bugging me on how I can't find them......

Glad you like the idea. The Color Me Blood Red lyrics can be found on www.lyricsandsongs.com as well as a total of 50 Malice Mizer and 30 Moi Dix Mois lyrics. I contacted the site if it was alright for the lyrics to be posted on another website and promised to give proper credit should it be necessary. Now it's only to wait for their reply and checking other sites of course. Unfortunately I haven't found any translations yet, so please let it know if anyone finds those or is able to translate him/herself. But, I think this is at least a step in the right direction. :)

I haven't heard from the lyricsandsongs.com people yet. Now, I'm not an impatient person, but I'd really like to get that lyrics/translations database off the ground. So how about we get the subforums ready, post what lyrics are on that site (I suggest making a topic per album/single and one post per song lyrics(+translation)) and link to the site to show our source. That way it isn't really stealing, is it? If they will appear to have a problem with it, we can always remove the lyrics and get to other sites :) How about it?

Do you know him personally to say that he doesn't smile much?? I don't agree to say that he doesn't smile just being bc when he's expressing is artistic vision he opted not to make facial expressions or talk...I really i'm not trying to be agressive or rude...it's just I don't think it's right to say that XD

but yeah...when he does interviews for magazines where there's no vocal or image recording, I think that he just shows up with his daily clothing and no make-up meaning that is not expressing is artistic vision...so he can smile, jump and make acrobacies in peace if he wants hehehe

But, I guess you're right. My words were of course only based on what I've seen of him myself (in the PV's, concert vids and tv interviews). And there I haven't seen him smile. Sorry if it looked like I was trying to look like some expert on Mana-sama (which I'm obviously not). I was only making a joke. But, would he really show up in a "regular" look in private interviews? Alright, everyone. As you likely have noticed, I recently went through Malice Mizer's and Moi dix Mois' albums and singles and did my best to collect and post as many lyrics and translations as possible. I'll have to admit I've taken a bit of pride and enjoyment in setting up and managing 'my little project' and I hope the database has been helpful to anyone in search of lyrics and/or translations of Malice Mizer and Moi dix Mois songs.

I believe I have covered pretty much all cd's, but the database is far from complete. There are still a quite a bit of songs lacking a proper translation (that is ALL songs for the Moi dix Mois section) and I can't stop feeling there are still lyrics missing or that some of them contain errors.

So, I'm calling upon you once again to help in perfecting this database. If you have anything that can improve it, do post it in the appropriate section (I'm only posting this here to cover both sections in a single post) or PM me. And with anything, I do mean ANYTHING! Whether full-fledged translations, suggestions or just minor typos you've spotted, let me know! I want to hear about it all! ... No, seriously, I mean it! :D I said it before and I'm saying it again: This database WILL be perfect! And I hope you'll further enjoy using it on its way to perfection. :)

I want to find translated lyrics to Ma Cherie, but I can't find any! :( I want to know what the song is about becasue in a question thingy I did on myspace, the song meant what I thought of my best friend. All I can understand is the "Ma Cherie, how you mean to me" part. ^^;;
