I have heard from a countless number of people that the mysterious, entrancing Shadow X is actually Mana-Sama himself. When I listened to Shadows Temple X & listened for Shadow X's parts I really thought, "Hey if thats Mana then he's REALLY good. I like it!" Another person had been saying that it IS infact Mana himself. Im not really sure, but Im dying to hear what everyone else has to say. (^^)\/

hmmmmm......this is a rumor floating around everywhere it seems. well, there seem to be some similarities between Shadow X's voice and Mana's voice, but who's to know really. it may be just a rumor, or by some odd twist its the truth. Mana can be really mysterious, so we may never know for sure.

The only real reason why its my theory that Shadow X is Mana is because back in Malice Mizer during an interview each band member was asked to name something they thought was strange about each other and Yu~ki said "Mana likes to sing death vocals!". I never really took account into that idea until someone else mentioned that if you listen to Juka's vocals and "death vocals" some of the death vocals don't match the sound of his (the ones that are supposed to be Shadow X), they're a bit deeper. If you've ever heard Mana's voice, you know it is infact deeper than Juka's, and K wasn't even around Moi dix Mois until winter of last year.

but...of course, all of that theory could be COMPLETELY wrong...we just never know. ):

I like the thought of Shadow X really being Mana, & especially scince I like Shadows Temple X then thats a bonus. I guess we really dont know right now. Although..If it is him then all I can say is he is mighty wicked with death vocals.

It was kind of a experiment, like the new album, too see if people really like his voice…It's just a theory…

:\ I wish I could show you the proof word for word, but I can't because its fanclub material. But, Shadow X was put in Moi dix Mois since the very beginning. The thought of even getting K in the band didn't even occure to Mana until late 2004. Mana had met K only one time before he introduced him to Moi dix Mois that fall, and it was a few years ago when he was trying to teach him something with computers. They didn't really stay in contact until then.

If it IS Mana anyways, I do have to admit his vocals are..*cough*goddamn sexy*cough* good. :ph43r:

lmao! that was hillarious! although I find that Juka's death vocals in the Unmoved song weren't that good. K seemed better. I think the Seth version was much better. but I think when Mana said his music is his voice and if we want to hear his voice listen we should listen to his music that could be a way of him implying that he is Shadow X. I know it sounds dumb, but that's just my thought. ^_^

do you think K might take over the death vocals in Moi dix Mois? I think I heard somewhere that K's vocals are becoming more frequent and that Shadow X (if that is his real name....:P) might just drop out of the spotlight and let K take over. I hope Shadow X stays with MdM.

I think, that Shadow X shouldn't drop out, if that is to happen. K is good, so why not keep them both? lol

I dont know, I like the death vocals for Shadow X. With the whole mystery behind him it would be a shame to let him go.

For a while I did kinda think that they did kill off Shadow X, but then he came back in Beyond the Gate..so I guess Shadow X will never be truely gone as much as some people might think Mana will just get rid of him.

well, since Mana is the creator of the band, he could just get rid of any members if he wants, which seems kinda mean. but I'm kinda glad Tohru isnt a part of MdM anymore. his drumming wasn't all that good. but back on topic, I hope Mana keeps Shadow X. his death vocals are a great addition to the band. I especially liked the vocals in Gloire Dans Le Silence.

I always wondered if Mana ever decided to retire from the music scene (which i hope he doesn't) he decides to reveal all his secrets like what he looks like without make-up or what his voice sounds like (which we already know but he decides to elaborate) and who Shadow X was. I know it sounds silly, but just a thought.

When i listen to Moi Dix Mois songs I always ask myself, if it can be that Shadow X is actually Mana. That voice in songs doesn't sound like K or Juka's or Seth's voice. So it could be Mana's...
