Nothing to do right now, so Imma talk about Apollo Justice, which I beat earlier in the week.

Overall, a good game. Not the best in the Ace Attorney series, though :P.

Characters:

Apollo Justice: Screw his "Chords of Steel," Apollo Justice has nothing compared to Phoenix Wright, who was forced to give up his position as a defense attorney seven years ago. Apollo's voice doesn't sound to good, nor does he really look 22. Lastly, compared to Phoenix's magical magatama, Apollo's Percieve system isn't very cool, and isn't utilized enough. I think I had to use it... 4 times? Maybe 5.

Trucy Wright: Honestly, I can't decide who I liked better when comparing her to Maya. They're both great. While Maya was just humorously uncultured, Trucy has her Magic Panties joke that never got old. Oh, and Mr. Hat. Once you see Mr. Hat, you love Mr. Hat. He's just so cool.

Klavier Gavin: While he was somewhat cool, he can't compare to Godot or Edgeworth as a prosecutor. He's a rock star (and a prosecutor, of course O.o) and his main attraction is that he occasionally plays an air guitar (quite well, mind you) after his "Objection!"s.

Ema Skye: Ema replaces Dick Gumshoe as the detective for all but about two seconds of the game. Honestly, it depressed me when I saw her instead of Dick. She can be funny, but nowhere near as funny as Gumshoe can be.

More Minor Characters:

Overall, the vast majority of the minor characters were great. Some of them just look weird, but most of them have at least one really funny moment. What made me really happy was the fact that both Mike Meekins and Director Hickfield popped up in the cases.

Music: Mostly the same soundtrack as before (I actually stop listening to my music so that I can hear the game's) with some added ones, like the Gavinners' (Klavier's band) songs.

Cases: Overall, they weren't as good, but the last case rivals the last case from Trials and Tribulations in "HOLY ####"-ness. The best part about that case is that after day one, you get to investigate seven years in the past and fill in the blanks of what happened between the end of Trials and Tribulations and the start of Apollo Justice.

DS Usage: Actually, besides the barely used perceive system, there isn't much to do with the touch screen that you couldn't do in the others. There wasn't enough of Ema's forensic sciences, and other than that, all you could do was rotate your evidence to look at it from all angles.

Art: I like the backgrounds :).

Anyway, my final notes, besides the fact that you should buy this game, is that Phoenix Wright is one of the coolest unemployed dads ever. He just is.

Oh, and when he helps you in the first case is quite fun :P.

Hrm. I did not like the psychic powers in PW. Just removed the entire thing too far from reality for me to really be comfortable with. Also did not like Maya constantly channeling Mia to remind me of what I already know. Glad to hear Apollo Justice got rid of that.

Still, the whole AA thing is just a mite too goofy for me to really love. I preferred Hotel Dusk: Room 215 over Phoenix Wright quite a bit, because PW, while fun, is just a bit too goofy. I enjoyed the more serious offering quite a bit more.

But I might bite on Apollo Justice, it does sound intriguing. But I think Professor Layton comes first :)
