I'm seeing that not many people are posting in threads thus making the forum seem pretty inactive. Maybe this is because of school and holidays or maybe your ill, but I still see people on for long over 30 minutes without posting a reply to a topic? I usually try and post in at-least on one thread a day. I know most are of you are on holidays and usually check up to see whats going on, but to keep the forum going, we need to start trying to get this forum active again. Maybe I'm wrong however I'm just a little concerned about this matter.

It's not just you. I too have noticed that many people use the chat box to chat in instead of the threads and or just come without doing anything. I myself have done this lately and haven't posted as much as I should. I'll start posting more though to try and help the inactiveness caused by my part. Since holidays are over and school is back for me it'll be a little easier. Hope this forum starts to look more like it did a few months ago.

Well, I try to, like, be active around but everytime I check the online users thing, every is just viewing the Board Index... Wow, amazing.
I also tried to rp but most people are in the Chunnin exams. So that's out too.

Yea, true the chuunin exams actually may end by the end of this month xD I agree with Tainted Sun, hopefully this slump will end. It might once the exams end and spring starts to come forth a little more.

It's quite true that JE isn't at all like it once was. I'd draw up a graph to illustrate the situation, but that would take work... and well, you know....

But if you guys want to help spike the activity here, I have two challenges for you:

1. Post at least once every time you log on. This is nt difficult. JE is full of interesting topics on many different subjects. There is bound to be at least one discussion you could add your opinion to. It takes mabe 10 minutes to write a paragraph or two, and if you all do it, activity will greatly increase.

2. Recruit new members who will be active. this does not mean posting it on tons of forums you barely visit. You may notice that we have 600+ members, but less than 100 or so regularly contribute. We need new members like Tainted Sun and Sensi Karate. Member who will post and be active on the forum. Those sorts of members are the ones who keep this place alive. Whether that means passing the link along to one friend, or recommending it to your gaming mates. The members we need ae ones who will actively contribute, not post twice and leave.


You guys help with just those two things, and I can guarantee that activity will rise.

beat is correct, especially in his second point. If I wasn't too lazy to hold a referral contest, I would, but having more active new members would boost our activity for sure.

Basically, this is what you should think: The more you post and the more people you recruit to post, the more you will be loved by the staff, and the less likely you are to be warned for being utterly retarded :P.

Lol, JE that was funny. The last part you said. I could try to recruite which I haven't done much of before since I haven't started doing forums till lately, but I can give it a try.

Yeah I noticed the forum become somewhat less active then it was when I first came here. It's pretty sad because most of the people that were here while I was left after I left. Then I came back and found the same staff and stuff so I was happy about that.

I was also happy about Are and Kaji joining from the topic I posted at SS (Soul Society) :D

Anyway, I think that we need new members and JE could possibly send out a mass email trying to get people to come back? I'm not sure that's just my opinion.

I'll try my best to help but I have no idea what I can do besides advertise and I do that already.

I have been a lot. But the topics that people reply to are just not what I would reply to. I'm just saying not all people post in all topics.

Yeah, I know, certain topics you have no idea about and is best left alone, and some which you may have certain beliefs or may be something you pride highly and wouldn't like to try to start an argument. However thats a minority, most other topics are about Games, Graphics, RPing, Naruto, Media, Music, Spam n games to name just a few, thats a diverse number in which you could contribute a post to at-least one topic.
