[spoiler]Anyways meh chapter, after that amazing one last time this was really a let down as we didn't find anything new thats really interesting. Atleast in the next chapter we'll be able to see Nagato's secret. Hopefully after that the manga will go back to Sasuke and Itachi and the summoning of Madara's father can finally begin.

EDIT: OMG! I just had an epiphany. If you took out all of the piercings, they would just be useless bodies. Either that, or they would revert back to thier normal selves...Of course I know its just not that simple.

Notice how one spear simply disrupted Jiraya's chakra. There are multiple piercings in each body of Pein, so it leads me to think that Pein simply manipulates the bodies via chakra. How, you ask? With the sticks. The piercings are most probably made out of the same material that Pein stuck in Jiraya. He noticed instant chakra disruption. So, I conclude that that is what makes them controllable. This does not account for the Rin'negan, but its a thought.[/spoiler]
