Spoilers for non-scanlation readers.

As everyone can see, this guy's slowly becoming a bigger character. Tobi started as a plain old funny-as-hell Akatsuki member, but now, we've seen him give orders to Pein. He's now revealed to have a Sharingan, and hints to having some relation to Uchiha Madara. There's quite a lot of topics and rumors surrounding Tobi, as to who is under the mask, etc. What will his roll in the manga bein the future?

I think he will be Obito, just because Kishimoto's really been making annoyingly cliche decisions right now. Thing is, the Obito would never support Akatsuki, so if Tobi is Obito, there's gotta be some reason that we don't know yet.

Assuming Kishimoto does reveal Tobi to be Obito, you know there will be a reunion of him and Kakashi. They'll fight for sure, but Kakashi won't put his heart into until the end. This fight wouldn't be the final fight of the Akatsuki saga though. Despite giving Pein orders, Pein is the one treated as Akatsuki's leader, so it will obviously be at least Naruto fighting him.

Anyone got something different or similar?

lol Harsh, why would you kill just because if they were the same person?

But I would be ticked if it was him. Just because I would have a hard time really thinking Obito was really that powerful. He was a barely competent Chuunin, who after as many years as Kakashi in training, is on Hokage level power.

Not just that, but we saw Obito die, remember? :P

Well, it crushed half his body, they sliced out his eye, and then more rocks crushed him....

But this is Shounen manga so :S

We saw Anakin Skywalker die too, but then he became ten times more powerfull because an insanely powerful person recreated him. Death doesn't always mean the same thing as it does here, in the real realm. We don't know what the limits of chakra are, and with Pein(or pain, i dont know how its spelled) being reffered to as a god in the Rain Village, he is certainly a candidate to have a ressurection ability.

But why would someobody who wants to rule the world revive someone that is stronger than he is?

What if he came back as part machine to compensate for losing a side of his real body?

Me thinks he might have stolen the Sharingan eye. Either that or he is Uchiha. If Tobi is Obito that'd ruin a lot of the fanbase (including me >.<)
Oooh if Tobi is Obito what if they fight and Tobi ribs out Kakashi's eye or something.. naw ><
One last thing, What ever happened to Rin? Do you think she'll come back?

Look at the end of 369, it shows Pein slowly slipping into a dark sleep, and then showing the Body of Tobi, maybe Pein controls all the Akatsuki? Maybe Pein found Obito's Body, remade it and was able to use it whenever he wanted? That could lead to other Characters, such as Itachi, since Peins more capable of killing all of the Uchiha clan off? This is leading to big things. :P

Well we know that it has to be a natural sharingan user.
Because the hole in the mask is his only way of seeing, if he had stolen the sharingan from someone, it would have to be active all the time. But, it's clearly not active all the time, so he's an Uchiha for sure.

That leaves us with:

Tobi (I really like how HoH compared him to Anakin Skywalker. It's the same thing really. And like JE said, Kishimoto's getting really cliche.
Uchiha Madara (I HIGHLY HIGHLY DOUBT)

Well I personally think that Tobi is Obito. And I will be UN-SATISFIED WITH KISHIMOTO IF HE ISNT. Tobi is Obitio, and like I've said previously I think that Kakashi vs. Tobi will show us who it really is.

WAIT. I THINK I'VE GOT SOMETHING AGANST OBITO =ING TOBI.

So, his right eye (as well as the right side of his body) was crushed. He gave his left eye (the good one) to Kakashi. That'd mean he shouldn't have a Sharingan, which Tobi clearly does. O.o......

I, personally, wouldn't have really suspected Tobi being Obito. But if you put the T in Tobi in the end you get Obit the only thing missing is a O like an eye. xD But Im making no sense.

It could have been possible that Obito gave Kakashi the right eye, no one ever said that eyes had to go to the left or right socket like shoes. But eh, who knows? Could be some other Uchiha surivor in disguise. After all, he is wearing a mask

Well, Uchiha Madara is long dead by now, he would be older then the third Hokage. Alot older. So Tobi, whoever he is, can't be Madara, but just has the power of Madara. Perhaps a relative, or somebody(OBITO!!!!!!!) that stole something of his, like the sharingan, or his life force or some cliche mumbo jumbo. I have an arguement like that nearly every night with Kman. -,-

Whoever had doubts about Tobi actually being Uchiha Madara, you are wrong. Pokefreak just posted an image from the next chapter of Naruto, because he gets them early for some reason. Anyway, the picture is below and proof that Tobi IS, in fact, Uchiha Madara.

Ok Here a couple things I want people to remember:

1. Tobi could be Uchiha Madara, but if Tobi is Uchiha Madara than he is not Obito. This means the Tobi = Obito and the Madara = Tobi must fight to the death or until the next chapter.

2. Tobi said the power of Uchiha Madara... My power or something like that! I think it would make more sense if he was refering to the Mangeku or however you spell it because I think it is confirmed that Madara had a Mangeku.

Ummm....did you not see my earlier post? Tobi IS Uchiha Madara. There's proof.

All I see is a picture of Madara. However, I haven't been reading the latest chapters, so it's entirely possible there's something there I am not getting.

This is from the Chapter 370, and Btw, Pokefreak drew Madara exactly right, and confirms that Tobi IS Madara, not using Madara's powers, but IS Madara. :P

I am still saying Tobi is not Madara just because it is against the odds and thats how I roll... like how tobi is the akatsuki leader and nell is or was an espada...
