People stopped reading/watching Death Note when he died. XD The main 'bad guy' dies and everyone stops reading, that's like people stop reading/watching Naruto because Oro died. :P

Technically, L owned everyone except for Rem :P.

But yeah, ti's kinda sad that people stopped watching/reading when he died. He was my favorite character, but still :P.

My favorite episode is when L meets misa d: [episode 15?] and steals her cellphone. d: then Light tries to call her and L answers. xD love that part for some reason..

Yeah me too, Idk I just like the one when Ray Penbar died. Light showed some of his awesomeness skills.

But L Pwns.

The thing i love most about the series is that it is pretty unique. Its got fighting in it, but a different kind of fighting.....a battle of wills and intellects.
Gotta love The way Light and L try to outdo eachother at every turn, trying to outsmart eachother..

I agree, it got some of the best fighting ever.

It'd be funny if they had a fighting game for Death Note.

lol, try syncing the OST of teh bleach theme song with the first opening animation of Death Note. the song is a bit to long, and about a half a second out of que, but its still funny.

Eh... I liked it more the other way, if you play the Death Note intro with the bleach video. I find the timing works better that way ;P.

If you time it right, it's almost 100% perfect. It's even doable on youtube if you're good enough with a mouse. Not hard to be, though on a laptop, I dunno.

Well anyway L does pwn all and yes ill admit i stopped watching after i saw L die. The anime became pointless. I mean even when Near and mello were together L pwned them. Than i was bored so i just caught up on the series and btw RLTH umm L wasn't the bad guy. Light was (thats why the anime was so good its different than most main stream the bad guy was the main guy)

The last episode was funny as hell. I was just laughing through the hole thing thinking "Thats what you get bitch".

Light became pathetic after watching that ep.

Yay! I love death Note <3 I especially love the moies. I've seen both and L is just so adorable! Though there isn't any Near or Mello sadly. And it's cool both the manga and anime have finally finished <3 But I hate it, in the movie, anime, AND manga, L dies EVERYTIME!!!! MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! Let him live! *cries in a corner*

Never knew you were a fan of yaoi JE :P, Am I the only that thinks that Light is the greatest, genious, mass murderour ladies man all in one. Can't get better then that can it? Dunno those really aren't the reason I like him dunno just think hes the greatest, the way he ows 12 fbi agents. Also what surprised me about him is that other criminals, would hide in the shadows and have their acolytes do their work for them while they hide in a black citadal and practise their messed up laugh all night long, Light wasn't like that he he sometimes exposed himself purposlly like when he killed penber, also nobody exposes themselves better then L, I'll give you L fans that much, the way he goes to Light and says I'm L. That was his finest moment. To bad he had to die, the smarter person one. :D

I'm also a fan of Light!!! And L <3 But I really didn't like light all to much to begin with, it wasn't until I watched the Death note movies that i fell in love with his character <3 I cried so much when he dies! :(

We should be Light's apprentices just like Near and Mello. :P

L : is the primary antagonist of Death Note.

Antagonist means bad guy. :P

I know, that's what screwed up the whole series for me. We saw more of the bad guy than the good guy. And when we did see the good guy he just ended up dieing. So sad.

I worship whoever came up with the idea to pin this thread. this show is awesome, no questions about it. No one can measure up to L. Light just became a jerk after episode 25. In fact, I wasn't surprised by the ending at all. Light deserved everything he got.

I'm sad. L died. But I'm happy he died peacefully, eating chocolate, sitting next to a picture of Watari. I also think he should have taken the Deathnote when he had the chance.

But from the way we think about it, Light is the bad guy, because he's the one killing. That's a large point of Death Note, to make you wonder which one is truely the good guy.

This Anime made me depressed... when it ended. About an episode after L died I missed him as a character. He is just plain awesome. I don't recall any anime character (or any character for that matter) being as awesome as he is.

When Death Note just plain ended it made me depressed yet again. So you know what? I'm going to go watch it again and again and again.
